A-Class [Official] Mercedes-Benz A-Class (W176)

The Mercedes-Benz A-Class is a car manufactured by Mercedes-Benz. It has been marketed across generations as a front-engine, front-wheel drive, five-passenger, five-door hatchback, with a three-door hatchback offered for the second generation, as well as a saloon version for the fourth.
Sorry I should have qualified that the deliveries start in Europe in December. I was told we would have A's to test drive sometime in January. I'm really looking forward to it (December or January). I hope they have some A250 Sports available.

excellent hopefully we start to get some owners reports in a couple of weeks or so. january though sounds so far away ! yep I do hope thats dec-jan and they have some a250s as well. its really the a250 am hoping is what it should be :)

Mr Mercedes, I took another testdrive with the new A-class. AMG package again but with a different engine and suddenly I appreciated both the steering and automatic gearbox. Maybe the gearbox and steering fits the gasolin version better than diesel , I dont know but I enjoy this two things. So from a driving point of view I dont think A250 is going to disappoint you.
I also testdrive the new Golf and Oh my god that steering is too light...

Thanks Just Me!!! Was it an A250 Sport? Would love a more 'detailed' review if you have the time. And a comparison of your impressions vs. the Golf. ;)

Nice pics mr merc, wow a few a series in that car park there and they all look road registered.

Nice shot of the Matt grey finish there. Not sure every time I see that finish now. Starts to look more and more like those ww2 German army cars with their Matt grey duco...but let's not mention the war haha

I understand why some people might find the lines/details a little polarizing, but seriously, this is one good looking hatch. Quantum leaps better than the previous model.

looks absolutely gorgeous ! black is perhaps a nice match for it. mountain grey should look pretty nice kdcorp :)

I always wondered why I find German cars dressed up in POLIZEI colors so attractive. I guess kudos goes to the decall designers who seem to find/highlight the 'lines that define the design' for that A looks damn fine in Police trim(y)

A250 Sport sound :)

hehe I wonder if that is the engineered by amg version or stock A250 :)

ps I was told by my dealer that two A200s and one RED A250 is now in oz which was used to train dealers on apparently the mechanics would get trained on it next followed by being released to the press.

Apparently a250 looks sensational in red. And all three with AMG interiors look upto par of other merc models. The ride reported is not harsh. Overall sounding like very nice car. Now just cant wait to have a drive in an A250 ! :)

Hi alebonau, the above sound video is the Engineered by AMG version indeed. The one here below to be exact, one of the first in Paris (from a french forum i follow):

lines and other design stuff aside, don't you guys think the grille looks way too gigantic for a car that is so short and doesn't even have a trunk?

Hi Ale. My dealer called me on Friday to report the same thing. He said the car was sensational. But of course a dealer would say that lol. He said he was going to email me some photos, so if he does, i'll post the A250 Sport for you.

I'm pleased to hear the ride was not harsh. The B-class hasn't been fairing that well in reviews here because of the runflats and subsequent ride quality.

The two most 'stylish' nations! LOL

It will be interesting to see how the sales of the 1-series, A and A3 pan out in the next year or so.

Mercedes pricing in some European markets is really crazy however.
