458 [Official] Ferrari 458 Italia

The Ferrari 458 Italia (Type F142) is a mid-engine sports car produced by Ferrari. Production: 2009-2015. Predecessor: Ferrari F430. Successor: Ferrari 488.
Just saw a black one a few minutes ago. Looks unbelievably better in real life, though the rear end is a bit fussy and the taillights are a little "too" big.

Was really surprised at how good the front end and headlights looked, though.

No pictures, sadly :eusa_doh:

Lord have mercy! Don't make no sense for a car to look that good!

I've seen two red ones within a week. Pictures makes no justice to the car. Mindblowing car :icondrool

I hear the 458 still sets itself on fire automatically even after the recall work was completed :eusa_thin

^ Seems that way, yes. Maaan, I'd be seriously pissed off.

Italian Auto magazine testing at Balocco, probably + very nice acceleration run to almost 300km/h. Looks pretty quick, watch the digital speedo on the left screen.

My 458 caught on fire today - FerrariChat.com

I was leaving the reasturant and the engine started to pop. Then the car started running rough then it would bearly run. The "check engine" light came on then the car must have a siren in the dashboard and it is loud. I looked at the engine and saw smoke, alot of smoke, I shut her down.

Sad about the car but I was impressed by the dealers response. he called back within seconds. After I hung up my cell phone the flatbed truck was calling me and he was on the way and there within 15 minutes. The car is now at the dealership and it maybe a few days days before I know what happened. It is still a new car and under warrenty. I must admit I am amazed by the dealers quick response.

Oh well life goes on

They agreed to sell my ZR1 for me and they have an F40 I want to look at again. Maybe with some thought I can get into it.

seriously w.t.f. is wrong with Ferrari? It seems like they're only going to take this matter seriously once a casualty occurs.

WOW I thought Ferrari had this under control or even eliminated now.
