458 [2009-2015] [Official] Ferrari 458 Spider

The Ferrari 458 Italia (Type F142) is an Italian mid-engine sports car produced by Ferrari. The 458 is the successor of the F430, and was first officially unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. It was succeeded by the 488 GTB (Gran Turismo Berlinetta) in 2015.
458 confirms the very good overall of its sister 458 Italia
incredibly the weight: just +29 Kgs (claimed + 50 Kgs)
@ Vairano, same hotlap, thanks its very modern project, and tow years of improvments (tyres and setup)
the Gallardo Spyder did a good lap (also with PZero Rosso) but cannot compete against 458

0-250 only 0,4 s slower - impressive!
almost same weight, almost same perfoprmance....
QR writes how, the really amazing is driving the Spider, you can not hear the "usual" differences between spider and coupe: vibrations, creaking, torsions about chassis. apart the wind noise, the spider is like the coupe!

I guess Audi will have to do better with the Gallardo Spyder.
honestly, Gallardo LP560 Spyder was already amazing: it's an old project (it means more difference between coupé and spyder...), and, despite the add weight, it did a very quick lap, just 0.6s slower than LP560 coupé, lighter and also tested with Pzero Corsa

impressive about:
- skipad (r = 55m) 1.15g
- maximum score about stability, dry and wet track too

The almost perfect spec for the 458 spider.

I don't know. Red interior are for brash Lamborghini's. Regardless of exterior mid engine Ferraris almost always look best with black interior with red stitches. However the 599GTB and other Ferrari touring cars do have a sexy appeal with terracotta or brown interior leather.

Verdict * * * * *

Ferrari says that the 458 Spider will be its most popular model, accounting for a third of global sales – and it’s not hard to see why. The convertible is just as good to drive as the 458 Italia coupé, with the bonus of a drop-top roof that lets you hear every note of that amazing 4.5-litre V8. How will it shape up against the new McLaren 12C Spider, though? We can’t wait to find out.

Should have taken the ticket and called it a day. (Most likely a ticket for not having a front license plate, which is required in NYS)

WOW what dumb ass idiot. So arrogant so cocky only to be made a fool out of in front his girl. Normally I wouldn't side with the police, but he got what he deserved and you wonder why people hate people who drive cars like that.

If I was that Cop I would have had a hard time holding myself back from beating that guys face in. People piss me off sometimes. I guess that's why I'm not cut out to be a cop (not to mention I don't have the balls to do near what's in their job descriptions).
