iX [Official] BMW iX (i20) [2021-

The BMW iX is a battery-electric mid-size luxury crossover SUV manufactured and marketed by the German automobile manufacturer BMW. It was unveiled in concept form as the Vision iNext at the 2018 LA Auto Show, and then in its production form in November 2020. The iX is BMW's second fully electric vehicle after the i3 in 2013, and the fourth BMW i sub-brand model.
Will it not be replaced by the Neue Klasse?

I guess not since the iX is not on a CLAR platform but on its own EV platform. Which is good enough to keep.

As for the FL.... I hope they change up the grille to something more normal. Do that and you end up with a breathtaking design IMO. It's already very pretty to me. Highly modern, clean and distinct. And no need to change the interior design either which might still be the best BMW has right now. Perhaps some more physical buttons (yeah a man can dream)

I would like to see the NK front on the iX as it will extend it visually as it ages amongst the newer iX3 which by all accounts is a smaller iX and not just an electric version of the forthcoming X3.
However I don’t see such a radical change so just like Kamala Harris like it or not. You are stuck with it.

I don't think the iX grill will change, just like the 4 series didn't, it is one of the differentiating characteristics that mark its great presence in addition to being accompanied by success, the indicated date of 2025 (5 years after its presentation ), also speaks clearly that there is no rush and everything is fine like that, but who knows, perhaps applications that we have not yet imagined will arise from that of the NK.

Yeah right?! I know that it was a really controversial design when they first showed the design but in real life it looks so futuristic and imposing. It looks like a concept car. Love the iX. Hopefully they will make it even better looking with the LCI.

That would be something similar to this.

Winner: BMW iX

Almost three years on from its launch, the competition is still yet to catch up with the BMW iX. It’s not just impressive as an SUV, but as a luxury car in general; ride comfort, refinement, interior space, tech and build quality are all brilliant.

Also consider that the iX feels so much more agile and is more efficient than its rival here, its range is great and charging speeds are rapid, and it’s incredibly hard to fault. If you’re able to overlook its challenging design, it’s still the best luxury electric SUV out there.

Runner-up: Mercedes EQE SUV

The EQE SUV is refined and spacious, and current finance deals mean it’s less expensive than the BMW. However, in almost every other way, the iX is significantly ahead.

The EQE isn’t efficient enough, feels heavy to drive (and stop), and the driving position seems to have been a secondary thought to a vast screen. It isn’t as if Mercedes has forgotten how to make great cars – the latest C and E-Classes prove that – but the brand’s current EVs lag behind the best.

BMW is lucky that their main competitors has totally failed with their EV cars.
