I've got to agree. Overall it looks good, but when I start to look closer at the front.... I don't know, I'm just not liking it that much.

I don't see any problem with the front really.
One of the best thing in this 5er is the front bumper and headlights
Maybe the rear you can say but the front its really fine.

The eyebrows are too thick. If they were becoming thinner getting to the grill the car would look much more agresive

I see the F10 as more of a E39, incredibly well resolved but a lacking a very tiny bit of aggression, while the G30 is more of a E34, perfect mix between aggression and stature.

Am a huge F10 fan, but this is just on another level.

Autocar says interior quality better than E Class.

Autocar claims no such thing. You have misread the text. The comment, 'As well as offering a much higher level of perceived quality and greater accommodation,' is a comparison drawn to the previous 5. Contextually they are talking about how the new 5 has improved significantly over the old 5 and is now equal to, or perhaps better than, the E-class.

I never really loved the f10 - I liked it, but anything other than the M5 lacked presence for me.

But this - even in its most basic forms with its sharp lines, angular designs and attention to detail (double Hoff, sculpted hockey, angular tail lights...) it has serious presence.

This is really the 5 series at its best - I mean just look at the long hood in this shot:

Think the E class did a good job of warming the 5ers seat.....but now king is back. It can now go back to its well deserved 2nd place.

Stunning package and a brilliant all rounder the new 5 series is , can't wait for the comparison tests. The 5 is the best looking car in its segment once again.
