It took me a few minutes to realise you'd actually posted a photo of a 7 Series and not a 5 Series.
Shameful on a forum like this, really.
But hey, I'm sure there's people who wouldn't even know it's a BMW in the first place!
I can't understand why this car looks exquisite and dynamic in photographs, but underwhelms me completely IRL. Not that I'd say no to one, but it just doesn't excite me on the road or the showroom floor.
100% agreed...Don't get me wrong, I like it, but it looks "erm...decent" in real life, whereas in pictures, it looks absolutely ace...How that happens to be the case is beyond meI'm inclined to agree.
Yes, the G30 is quite handsome. And according to most automotive journalists, a very impressive automobile. And yet, a very recent visit to my friendly local BMW dealership afforded me the opportunity to view the car "in the metal". I can't say that it left me breathless. I did not experience an acceleration of my pulse. I murmured "nice enough, I guess" to myself. And I surprised myself while thinking: "Weird...I actually like the W213 better.". Yes...I find a car that, in basic spec, is becoming increasingly more commonplace on EU taxistands, more stylistically cohesive and generally more attractive. And in generously spec'd form, highly appealing.
All a matter of personal taste, I reckon.
