4 Series (F32) [Official] BMW 4 Series GranCoupe

The first generation of the BMW 4 Series consists of the F32 (coupé version), F33 (convertible version) and F36 (five-door liftback version, marketed as 'Gran Coupé') compact executive cars. The 4 Series was created when BMW spun off the 2-door models (coupé and convertible) of the 3 Series into a separate series. Production: July 2013 – September 2020
Hello to the forum, that is my first post here!
Does any one know, and that goes to SCOTT27 mostly, if there is any plan from BMW to put a 1.6lt engine into production of 4 gran coupe?
I guess 170hp will be ok for this car...o_O

Depending on which country you are from? In Germany The 4er Gran Coupe is available as the 418d.

Ok i'm from Greece.
Due to taxation reasons i would prefer a 1600cc 418i instead of a 2000cc 420i!
170hp vs 184hp + 250nm vs 270nm , not too much a difference for me, if i get to pay much less.

Welcome fellow Greek!

@SCOTT27
The difference in taxation is indeed huge - anything with a displacement over 1921cc is taxed like a luxury item, thus increases the annual cost maintaining such a vehicle.

Would the 418d not work out better? You can still select the M Sport Packet.

I am curious with regard to unit sales of the 4GC. I have seen only very few on German roads so far. The 4 series 2 door coupe is far more frequent.

^^Haha I was just about to post the same thing and click in see the post above.I haven't seen a sigle one of it so far,but have seen a couple of X4's although it was released to the market much late than the 4er Gran coupe.

Sales so far are accounting for around 10-15% of the 4er models. It is still in its infancy and like the 6er which took a few months from market introduction to become the best selling 6er model.

The X4 sales are on fire at the moment.

BMW Individual upgrades the 4-Series Gran Coupe

BMW Individual has taken the wraps off their latest 4-Series Gran Coupe.

Dressed in Frozen Brilliant White metallic paint, the model looks fairly ordinary until you get close enough to check out the bespoke interior which features Opal White and Black extended fine-grain merino leather upholstery.

The car also has a leather-wrapped dashboard, a two-tone M leather-wrapped steering wheel and a BMW Individual Manufaktur logo on the rear parcel shelf. The company also added Piano Black trim with Frozen Brilliant White metallic accents.

Hatchback, fastback, liftback .....whatever

Any logical argument over its description ended with calling it a coupé

Anyhow, it's a highly desirable vehicle.

I am about to suggest it to someone as a serious consideration for their next car.

The 4er Gran Coupe is now selling twice its first year while that does not mean an M4 Gran Coupe, an M440i Gran Coupe will have to suffice.
In the meantime BMW Present how you can create the perfect Individual Gran Coupe.

Indeed, the 4 series Gran Coupe is becoming an increasingly more common sight here in northwestern Germany. And personally, I am becoming increasingly appreciative of the car. I attended an "Oktoberfest"-themed event at a large regional BMW dealership yesterday morning. While the events' primary intention was to acquaint the public with the new 7 series (the mocha metallic colored 730d displayed was very impressive), they also featured a number of slightly-used, well-spec'd 4 series Gran Coupe demonstrators in their used car showroom. Very nice.

It took 2 years for the 6er Gran Coupe to become established on the market to outsell both Cabrio and coupe where it remains as the best selling 6er model. The 4er Gran Coupe is selling double the rate now. So potentially Gran Coupe in theory could become the best selling 4er model.

Scott, what's the name of the colour of the three first pics on your post [HASHTAG]#273[/HASHTAG]?
I've seen the exact same car yesterday on my way back home. Although sedans and coupes are way less popular than Suvs and crossovers in my country (X5 and X6 are all over the place), I've seen many 4er GC, and I'm completely hooked by it. Will love to own one at some point, but right now is completely out of my reach (blame BMW Bolivia and their ridiculous pricing)

I assume this is Frozen Bronze. The same colour like at the first 4 GC in that video.
:)
