I like it alot..probably drives amazingly..

But godamn.. thats a half MILLION kroner for 1 series..
It makes me feel uncomfortable..
Its hard to justify..

But to hell with that..it will be interesting when its on the used market with a year under its belt and a 35-40K pricetag.. thats when the fun starts

Not so sure bout the color, looks a lot like sedona red in the offical pics. Wanna see black/white one. The best part is weight, they managed to keep empty weight below 1500kg.

Started off feeling rather ambivalent as I thought the enhancements are overdone, but am warming up to it a little. Though, I'd still take the E30, time and time again, but I'm odd like that.

The M TwinPower Turbo Technology used in the BMW 1 Series M Coupe consists of two relatively small superchargers which, because of their low inertia moment, are active even at low engine speeds, each providing three cylinders with compressed air. This results in an unusually spontaneous level of responsiveness. The drivetrain provides its maximum torque of 450 newton metres at as little as 1500 rpm. This is available up into the 4500 rpm range and can be increased by another 50 newton metres in full throttle by means of an overboost function.

I think the 1M Coupe must be priced at no more than 10% over the price of the 135i cabriolet to be a success. It mustn't be too expensive.

So says a man who has not driven the car, I would rather believe Chris Harris from EVO who drove the car and waxed lyrical about its performance.

As for me, I am sold , its a good replacement for the 135 cabrio (should be in a similar price range.. I hope). I live 1, 753 m above sea level where the NA engine M3 looses intermittent power, this car will give it a few headaches up here in the reef, having similar suspension, M3 Competition alloys and all.
