718 Boxster/Cayman (982) [Official] 718 Boxster, Cayman GTS 4.0

The Porsche 982 is the internal designation of the fourth generation Boxster/Cayman (third generation Cayman) made by Porsche. The two models have been marketed as the Porsche 718 Boxster and Porsche 718 Cayman. Production: 2016–2025
Do I need one? No. Do I want one? Absolutely. Porsche have done a wonderful thing by giving owners who love their 981s a road map back to NA nirvana without having to shell out GT-spec money.

Personally I would pony up the premium for the GT4. I like discrete cars but the GT4’s front bumper, rear diffuser and wing makes the GTS look unfinished.

The black GT4 in the below videos looks sensationally good.

Was at the local Porsche dealer (right outside of Brussels) yesterday, to inquire for a test drive of the Cayman GTS 4.0..
.
Seems they will have the first test cars available around end April-early May...Hope we can get to arrange it, will keep you all posted

This was on my radar until the C8 was introduced. Once things settle down with the COVID pandemic, I wonder how much the 718 and 911 will be impacted by the new Corvette. Especially in the U.S. market.
