718 Boxster/Cayman [Official] 718 Boxster, Cayman GTS 4.0

The Porsche Boxster and Cayman are mid-engine two-seater sports cars manufactured and marketed by German automobile manufacturer Porsche across four generations—as a two-door, two-seater roadster (Boxster) and a three-door, two-seater fastback coupé (Cayman). Since the introduction of the fourth generation in 2016, the two models have been marketed as the Porsche 718 Boxster and Porsche 718 Cayman.
Yes, I couldn't discern any tangible difference in throttle response. It's a very responsive engine.

Oh, I'll manage Luw... first world problems.
I forgot to ask. Is the gearing sensible enough to allow redlining in 2nd gear without exceeding 70mph?

The gearing is shorter but still not short. I saw an indicated 120 km/h (75mph) in 2nd at the 7800 rpm redline. That's still some way off the 85mph in 2nd with the manual.
Such speeds are not unexpected in an engine that revs to nearly 8000 rpm (that's quite a lot of reach) and the result is fine: easy to just pootle around with and then plenty enough torque to enjoy great pace over 4000 rpm - a quintessential NA engine experience. Unless someone informs me to the contrary, it feels like the geared speeds are much the same in my current car - it also reaches around 120 km/h in 2nd. Without knowing better, I'd say the gear ratios are the same between 981 and 982 PDK. Over to the experts...

Same gearbox/gear ratios as the 718 GT4, right?

I have seen a silver one. The alloys make the car and should be available for any Porsche model.
This wheel design reminds me of some typical Porsche wheels of the 964 and 993 generation ... but honestly, I like the multi spoke wheels posted some posts above much more!

I'd much rather spec a standard GTS 4.0 to my tastes (e.g. satin platinum wheels) than spend extra on the anniversary edition.
