911 (992) [Official] 2021 Porsche 911 GT3 (992 Series)

The Porsche 992 is the eighth generation of the Porsche 911. Predecessor: Porsche 911 (991). Production: 2018–
Would be interessting to know, how many trials Lars Kern needed to break the 7 minute barrier... seems that getting sub 7 was the hidden agenda.

Amazing car as expected.
Only two things I dislike - the hood vents look awful and ruin the whole look for me and the MASSIVE price hike.
991 GT3s were bargain priced.

For the first time ever I think the Turbo is the best looking 911 out there.

PS: Not that it's relevant or of any importance to me but isn't this the first Porsche in history that's actually slower in a straight line than its predecessor ?

Are both cars slower or is it just the manual? I haven't checked.

My 2 favorites from the satandard colors - Agate

Although I am normally the big fan of more subdued metallic/pearlescent hues, the 911 GT3s' accomodate a more flamboyant colour selection. A Touring Package (NO rear wing) car in Jägermeister Orange with those brushed satin silver rims could look quite exciting. A shout-out to the mid-1970s' 934 RSR.

Gross Jimmy, you can't do a Touring in a flat orange. Defeats the point of the passive-aggressive elegance of the Touring package, imho. GT3 and GT3 RS (more so) absolutely!

...well...that's just like....your opinion, man.

Fun aside, I genuinely think that I could like that combination. That said, a GT3 Touring Package in a subdued darker green metallic would certainly fascinate me.

GT3 Touring? GT Silver, black interior, satin platinum wheels, done. Boring and safe? Yes.

Say what you want, but this is the worst looking GT3 generation. It's borderline ugly with all those plastics. What a way to ruin the nice design they had going.

Touring, you can go both ways - flashy or classy -

Signal yellow touring -

Or viper green -

Or go all classy with dolphin grey -

When a car look this good, it can pull off any color, question is can the driver?

Come on, now that I see the "old" Touring, I am even more waiting for the 992 GT3 Touring. This could be my ultimate "dream" 992 (I am not a fan of the big wings...). Hope they won't wait too long to release it.

Big? It has exactly the same exterior dimensions and only 5 kg more than the 991 GT3...

Yes big. The 992 is much bigger than the 991.

Same exterior dimensions for the GT3 must be the wing extruding or something.
