M3/M4 [Official] 2021 BMW M3 and M4 [G80 & G82]

The BMW M3 is a high-performance version of the BMW 3 Series, developed by BMW's in-house motorsport division, BMW M GmbH. M3 models have been produced for every generation of 3 Series since the E30 M3 was introduced in 1986. The BMW M4 is a high-performance version of the BMW 4 Series automobile developed by BMW's motorsport division, BMW M, that has been built since 2014. As part of the renumbering that splits the coupé and convertible variants of the 3 Series into the 4 Series, the M4 replaced those variants of the BMW M3. Official website: BMW M

The M3 Touring is becoming very popular here, it is almost as popular as the M3 sedan.

Just spotted the M3 CS Touring, one of 50 in Australia. It is very pricey though at $250k AUD, or over $70k premium over the regular M3 Touring.

Literally every function has a button. No screens, driver oriented, solid as a rock.....you're doing the E90 wrong here.
I might have exaggerated with the "far superior" part, but you sure did too with "since E46"

My problem with the G20 is that the pre LCI looks outdated and tired, while the LCI plain ugly with that new screen. The E90 however will look forever good.

Perfection. Aluminum trim and single hump. Love it.

Only thing that makes it just slightly better is pairing with the silver gray interior!

Makes it look just slightly more contemporary imo, more urban feeling you know? But I know it's not to everyone's taste.. perhaps I'm biased because my interior combination was this silver gray/single hump/alu trim.

That being said I still really like the G20 pLCI interior too.

Almost as if there's no decorative trim at all with the aluminum fading away in the sea of gray. Some black in the doors and console would break it up a little. But it looks super clean.

And the G20 interior is the last and final offshoot of the double hump interior started by the E90. It's exactly a modern E90 without a hump for the middle screen. Hence me calling the G20 old and tired interior wise. It's a theme started during Bangle and which will end with the arrival of the Neue Klasse interior layout

Does the Blue not have the extended leather option?
Extended leather wasn't necessary for contrast leather on door cards. You would have that even if you ordered a base 320d or even an F20 116d with cognac leather.

However this level of cost cutting isn't unique to BMW. Many car manufacturers now don't bother extending leather colours or trim like wood or carbon to door cards.

Audi don't bother worh leather colours much. The rs and s models are all black inside.

The G80/82 have been quite generously customisable.

BMW M

BMW M GmbH, formerly known as BMW Motorsport GmbH, is a subsidiary of BMW AG that manufactures high-performance luxury cars. BMW M ("M" for "motorsport") was initially created to facilitate BMW's racing program, which was very successful in the 1960s and 1970s. As time passed, BMW M began to supplement BMW's vehicle portfolio with specially modified higher trim models, for which they are now most known by the general public. These M-badged cars traditionally include modified engines, transmissions, suspensions, interior trims, aerodynamics, and exterior modifications to set them apart from their counterparts. All M models are tested and tuned at BMW's private facility at the Nürburgring racing circuit in Germany.
