M3/M4 [Official] 2021 BMW M3 and M4 [G80 & G82]

The BMW M3 is a high-performance version of the BMW 3 Series, developed by BMW's in-house motorsport division, BMW M GmbH. M3 models have been produced for every generation of 3 Series since the E30 M3 was introduced in 1986. The BMW M4 is a high-performance version of the BMW 4 Series automobile developed by BMW's motorsport division, BMW M, that has been built since 2014. As part of the renumbering that splits the coupé and convertible variants of the 3 Series into the 4 Series, the M4 replaced those variants of the BMW M3. Official website: BMW M

Phew!! ?‍? I thought they gave it a “Joker” Smile there. If only the rear lights were as thin as the OLED strips.
The effect of the Oled strips works within something that frames it, with space that highlights it, otherwise they would be nothing more than lights, it seems to me

It seemed absolutely the opposite to me, added to the fact that I never saw this done with the OLEDs, very novel, but here for many it seems that everything that is done is tacky

Not just talking about OLEDs but everything I see.

I am hoping that Frozen Titanium Grey is chosen for the M3 CS.

Hm. Maybe. But then a 992 GT3 is tacky^2 ...
The GT3 especially in Touring form is a nice car. I just don't like the hood vents treatment with this generation.
From what can be seen so far the CSL won't be much different visually from the M4 with M-Perf parts which is the epitome of tacky IMO.
I honestly think it will be even tackier.

It should look fine in a plain inoffensive color (white, grey, black), with the technical carbon bits enhancing the base color rather than being a burden, and with a few contrasting red accents thrown around if the rumors are accurate (red taillights and badging on the rear, red brake calipers and badging on the sides, some sort of red grille insert and badging on the front?!). Though the most iconic easily remains white with M tricolor stripes:

Ok. They go all in with the CSL: Cup2R!

And they will do an official Nordschleife Laptime. My bet: 7:10

It’s going to be the most extreme M car BMW has ever built as was the E46 CSL at the time. Should set a blistering time with those cup2R….1600kg would be a nice number on the scale.

BMW M

BMW M GmbH, formerly known as BMW Motorsport GmbH, is a subsidiary of BMW AG that manufactures high-performance luxury cars. BMW M ("M" for "motorsport") was initially created to facilitate BMW's racing program, which was very successful in the 1960s and 1970s. As time passed, BMW M began to supplement BMW's vehicle portfolio with specially modified higher trim models, for which they are now most known by the general public. These M-badged cars traditionally include modified engines, transmissions, suspensions, interior trims, aerodynamics, and exterior modifications to set them apart from their counterparts. All M models are tested and tuned at BMW's private facility at the Nürburgring racing circuit in Germany.
