The Golf GTI as well, and some other cars that I don't remember right now.

It's not global warming or anything like that. It's the nature of high-pressure turbocharged air. The flow of the air from the cylinders to the exhaust is gagged and so is the flow from the environment towards the cylinder, because of the turbo. There's no airbox (like the recent M engines) after the air filter that creates such an amazing sound, nor are the exhaust engineers free to play with the sound as they wish. It's a matter of efficiency...

I guess I'm the only one saying 'meh'. Sure the car looks great. It looks brutal, it looks aggressive etc. etc. But it's all so expected. All so predictable. At least BMW and Mercedes have been pushing the envelope. Even if they have been some (quite a few?) misses, at least their designs are evoking emotion.

Audi's design idiom has become predictable to a point where it's almost clinical and devoid of any 'feel'. One just needs to look at the BMW 4-er concept to understand that while some details may be questionable, as a whole the design intrigues. It draws you in.

So the new Audi RS6 looks like every other Audi, with the 'hot dial' turned up a few notches. My response is, 'So what? Where is the passion?'

My only problem is the rear. It's just not agressive enough... :/ And I don't think the rear lights of the A6/S6/RS6 are the good looking. They are too corny. The A3, A4, A5 and most defenitely Q5 have much nicer looking lights.

It´s true it hasn´t the most beautiful rear lights ever, but they aren´t bad either. The Q5 and A3 3 dr have the most beautiful ones.

Haha..How funny..I find the rear is the most attractive part of the car..the lights may bland looking alonely but as a whole with the lines on the boot the rear looks very nice to me.
