SLK/SLC-Class (R172) Mercedes-Benz SLK R172 (spy shots and info)

The Mercedes-Benz R172 is the third generation SLK-Class (SLC-Class) launched in 2011. It is the successor to the R171. Production: 2011–2020.
U are comparing the interior to a brand new ones which ain't fair, but i'm sure with the right color combo it will look gorgeous..:D

I hope the AMS chop is not acurate. That´s just the current car with fixed front end, and I´m afraid because the mules have the same exterior door panels than the current car.

Hilarious. What is a "fixed" roof on a roadster? Very bad SL chop.

M

That chop is just YUCK!!

Jeez, I freaking hope not. As beautiful as the Z4 is, I hope MB doesn't make this thing ugly and seal their own fates.

Like Merc said, a very poor SL facelift chop. Don't worry about it :)

LoL I used the wrong word. I meant a similar roof like the new Z4 BUT in glas. Intresting huh!

Interesting, but a glass roof sounds heavy. But doesn't the SL already have a glass roof?

You guys are doing so non-stop in all the 5er vs new E-class threads, but I suppose this is something completely different again :jpshakehe

That grille is probably close since it will look like the SLS as the current SLK has the SLR nose.

M

^^That looks like a mishmash of the SLS, the current SLK and gen before that. Not pretty by ANY means.

That autobild chop isn't bad. The lines on the Z4 are going to be hard to top. that is the prettiest roadster out there.

What is up with the funky sideview mirror placement?

Ohhhh ok...So the last SLK was like the SLR....Now this SLK will be like the SLS. I understand now.

The LEDs are nice too...
