M-package for E70 in July

Gotta see more pics of the new M package, in different colors mainly, to judge if Hamann for the 1st time made something better looking than the BMW Oem, because from these pics, it does look better than M!

:t-cheers:

its a failure this M package imo..it doesent look good..it kinda ruins whats good with the cars design
the dynamic package rocks though..

I have to agree with Artist.. I didn't like the M package-may be it is the bad pictures. But on the bright side, you don't have to spend money on it...

Still no press release and no interior pictures. Want to see the M-steering wheel, what the shifter is like, pedals, etc.

There are several press releases available (Germany, UK, France, ...) ...

Don't know what will happen with US market ... whether M-package will be available there ...

Can you please point me to any German or UK press release. Thanks.

I think this is the biggest mistake in which the Aero-package is WAY more aggressive than the M-package..

I thought after reading Scott and Eni posts about the M-package thats its going to be something really Aggressive..

That look is way too soft ,, Audi's S line, Porsche Cayene Turbo (FL), ML63 kits looks much nicer and way to aggressive than the M-package look on the X5..

Thats just my opinion ;)

I just saw that the M-Package is now available in the German Configurator...Unfortunately the pictures in the configurator still do not show the M-package....But at least there is some progress and we may be able to finally see it in different colors soon

Hi,

My first post on here. I have a M-sport Pack 3.0d on order in Space Grey. In fact the car is due in about 4 weeks. I have been very worried as i specced my car before i saw the press release photos and didn't like the look.

I have never used photoshop but i decided to try a free trial and edit the m-sport photos to see what they might look like.

I know the colours vary between grey and blue but I hope you'll agree that in Grey or any darker colour the M-Sport Package looks much better than the press photos even though my efforts are poor!

:t-cheers:

justino, 1st of all welcome to GCF! :usa7uh:

Listen, man, i appreciate that from the pics you don't find the M package that attractive as you were expecting (same as i), but you know that pics don't do any justice to BMWs...;) Everything about 'em looks ten times better IRL and so will this M pack... Plus, they (BMW) didn't put any effort in order to fascinate people with these press pics. Just imagine a black, blue or grey (your choice) X5 with some nice 20"s on it...

I'm quite sure you didn't make a mistake by ordering the M pack, you'll love it, you'll see...No reason to be skeptical about it.;)

Engine is unconfirmed, but the next logical choice would be the big 6.0 liter V12 from the 760i sedan which produces 438 horsepower.

I can't see that. Nope. They're off on this one IMO.

Looks like the same front bumper as seen in the latest X6 spy pics.

Btw...talking about the M-Package...the first official pictures are out almost 2 month now...but still no flyers, other photos in other colors...looks like the marketing department is on vacation..

That sucks indeed; i'll have to finish my order in one month time, but i haven't seen any other pic(s) except the lousy ones from BMWPress...:thumbdown

That's prototype of "is" X5 version with V8 turbo.

That's why I was told (by my sources) Huckfeldt's CGI of X6 was "very similar to X5 M-Sport".

Which I thought was a word about M-package, but now we see it was a word about "X5 M-sport" (= "is" version).

I'm on vacation, so can't check whether the fascia in pics is only for testing purposes, or will appear on pruduction cars as well. :t-hands:

Mor info next week ... :t-cheers:
