I ordered the B&O system, too. Kind of at crossed purposes in that considerable sound-proofing is done in a car with this kind of audio system...and an engine I want to listen to.

did you take these photos? Do you think this is the "deep sea blue" color? It is a bit purplish on my monitor, but the the photo looks as if there may be some color shift [yellowish grass].

Interesting that there is brightwork around the side windows. I expected the M package to include Shadowline. I believe earlier photos of the M packaged cars had Shadowline.

Guess they are already delivering new cars on the West Coast. Jeez, I ordered mine months and months ago, and it's not even here yet. Wonder what the holdup is?

I was right, the earlier photos of Euro spec cars get shadow line surrounds on the windows, and a different interior as well.

The new M5 is going to be an incredible car.

They had a total of four new 6er's in show. One was the convertible (no M package and had standard headlight). The other 3 were coupes with the M Package and FULL-LED headlights.
I'll be completely honest, looking at all the photos online of the 6er I wasn't blown away like many of you guys were. It looked good but not WOW(make me drool) GOOD.....BUT seeing the 6er in the metal and in motion....wholey shmoley! This car in either coupe or convertible is down right stunning and perfect!

Apologies for the color cast on the photos. That color did not have any hint of purple in it. I will post more photos of all 4 cars soon (the other two M Package coupes were red and white!)

And klier..don't worry buddy..the new M5 eventually made an appearance and I got shots. Also took photos of the 328 Homage Concept.

Except for the black interior [mine is cinnamon brown], the blue car is like the one I have ordered. LED lights, M package, wheels. Glad North Carolina does not require a front plate.

Should come ashore Tuesday...

I love the exterior looks too, absolutely flawless as far as I am concerned. The interior however, I am starting to dislike more and more.
I just came back from the dealership here, and I sat in a 640i cabrio for quite a wile to examine it. The fit and finish is fantastic, the quality of materials is of very high quality, but the design is possibly the worst of ANY Bimmer. I just find it awkward and unlike a BMW interior. The 7er on the other hand has a perfect interior. Perfect in capitals.

I agree, I sat in a 6 right after sitting in a 5, and I thought the 5ers interior was much nicer and had a higher sense-of-occasion to it. I like the screen integration on the 5, the materials I feel were about the same, and I like the wood that the 5 features in comparison with the 6.

I kinda felt that way too, not sure why that is. The 6 interior looks better, but the 5 feels better. It should be the other way around for both looks and feel for the 6 compared to the 5. The screen might be too big in the 6, but I think I can deal with it.
