296 [Hot!] Ferrari 296 GTB - New V6 Hybrid Supercar for 2022

The Ferrari 296 (Type F171) is a two-seater, offered as a GTB coupe and a GTS folding hard-top convertible. Production: 2021- Predecessor: Ferrari F8.
What is not fine though is the dropping value of 296. I wonder what its gonna be after VS is out.

I think this issue may be market dependent? The resales in Austrlia look pretty reasonable and availabilty low.

I have read the the situation is not great in the UK and I've heard stories about Ferrari pointing fingers at 'mismanagement' by the dealer network. But who knows the truth. It could be the total opposite. Ferrari are masters at 'creating' demand for their product.

Stunning car mate. Congratulations!

Not sure how missed this thread.

I wasn't 100% sold on the 296GTB for the first couple of years. There was something 'retro' about the sheetmetal I didn't love. But now I would say it is absolutely one of the prettiest, if not the prettiest, cars you can buy.

What can you tell us about your ownership experience so far?

Our 296 is due to land in August. I've been a lot 'safer' with the selections than your stunning spec. That red is .

Thanks! Im not sure Rosso Maranello is worth the price but it does look great. You’re going to absolutely love the car. It’s without a doubt the best driving Ferrari I’ve been behind the wheel of and I’ve had a 458 and a 458 Speciale. It does everything so good and it really is playful and fun despite being ludicrously quick.

That's what I've been reading as well...Wonder if the depreciation is as steep as they suggest for the SF90

It’s very bad for all Ferraris at the moment except supposedly the SUV.

It’s also very bad for McLaren, Maserati, and even the Revuelto is showing signs I’ve dropping under list.

So, no car keeps its value well, except for Bugatti, Pagani and/or Toyota? :ROFLMAO:

This is true! Except you will lose $500k on a Chiron if you bought new. These are depreciating assets. There’s so much wealth in the world now and OEMs are producing to meet that capacity and pricing to cut out the grey mkt. short term result is customers are getting wacked.

Indeed, but short term as you said. In the mid to long term, some of the more “desirable” models tend to hold their value pretty well, even in this day and age
