I must say the interior could’ve used more trims and other materials to get that premium look and feel. It looks a bit dull this way. Exterior is fire though. The ICE version will be even better.

Looks fine. But again, I can't help but feel the iX3 looks better resolved overall.

I'm with you on this one. The SUV form factor works better here imo - not as tall and narrow looking.

First impression is a weird rear, and too many lights going on in the front. Looks like a Christmas tree ffs
Not a fan of that artificial grille. Looks like an afterthought and makes the front awfully busy.

It'll grow on me no doubt. Every new Bimmer looks awkward at first sight for me.

Just happy to finally get this over with. Sheesh what a drag it was for years and years.

Do you guys think those grille graphics are an afterthought or were they initially designed like that? The original concept had much different grille graphics and much thicker taillights.

Looks like it to me. The iX3 the kidneys are clearly part of the fundamental design. Here, it looks like they realised it looked too anonymous without them, and fixed it with lights.
And I agree with Klier here, there's too many lights going on in he front end here.

The side profile is also giving Skoda to me too. A Skoda with muscles.

Interesting take. I love pretty much every detail. Perhaps an iX3-like grille would’ve been nice but it’s still great.
Off topic, I also believe that those wheels are 21’s, which is kinda crazy to think about on a 3-Series.

I guess that is why the G6X 5er and G9X M5—the entire 5 families have recently got the retooled L.C.I. (subtle nose job) before their official releases.

With that in mind, it's very intriguing to know until Wednesday if, just like in the iX3, you can "turn off" the i3's grille and it will look like the original i3 concept.
