Looks good here....gives me some old school retro RS vibes with the squaureness. It's not the prettiest but it's different like every other BMW ....and that I appreciate. Crazy that the baby entry level ///M car has a bigger engine than the C63!BMW UK received their M2 example.

Standard for partially unattractive cars. Paint black to turn into a shadow silhouette and hide the designer's work.Just like most of the controversial new BMW designs of late, black suits the car best. Softens those jarring details. So yeah, no São Paulo yellow in this either, por favor.
The M2 would rock São Paulo Yellow.Just like most of the controversial new BMW designs of late, black suits the car best. Softens those jarring details. So yeah, no São Paulo yellow in this either, por favor.
If BMW owned Chrysler. The 2er Gran Coupe would probably be a re-badged Dodge Neon.![]()
I love the new M2.. but can't help but be reminded of Dodge's 2000s corporate front endshopped up a quick edit lol
It's a bummer that customisation options on the M2 are limited. One of the reasons why I respected but was never seduced by the predecessor, is that almost all of them looked identical. Almost every M2 Comp that I see on the road is Hockenheim silver with black interior.
Although the M2 G87 has cognac leather option, it doesn't extend across the dashboard like in the M3/M4. If you choose carbon bucket seats then the only leather option is black. This makes the speccing process of a very expensive "dream car" dull and not very individual.
This makes the M3/M4 appear like a big step up in customisation. It has more exterior and interior colour options + the interior contrast leather extends to many areas of the cabin.

Light colours work well in countries with strong natural sunlight. Under more overcast conditions they tend to be dull.I like Zandevort blue and hope to see it on the roads. However I'm not holding my breath as the colour is very Miami/LA. The only car that I recall seeing in a similar shade is the Fiat 500. In the UK, light colours are not favoured for performance or flagship cars.
