M2 [Hot!] 2020 BMW M2 CS

The BMW M2 is a high-performance version of the BMW 2 Series automobile developed by BMW's motorsport division, BMW M GmbH. As the 2 Series replaced the 1 Series coupé and convertible models, the first-generation M2 was marketed as the most basic M model in the range. Official website: BMW M
He did it. And the result is that now the psychiatrist also hates BMW.

We can be grateful to all brands for the development of today’s cars. Some more comfortable others more sporty. And if you're a real car fan, you'll respect that. But some just don't understand it. It’s not just about the one brand it’s about the whole car industry.

It's the EVO Car of the Year.
If you're lucky enough to have gotten one - hang on to it for dear life.

It's the only car that can go toe-to-toe with a GT4.

I would choose GT4. I think it will hold the price better. And is a better package overall.

Me too, but it doesn't diminish the M2 CS's achievement - it's a fantastic car. And more versatile than a GT4 too. As for residuals, I expect the M2 CS to hold its value slightly better than a GT4. I think it's the rarer car?

We will see. Judging from M3CS/M4CS I doubt, that M2CS will be holding its value any better ...

I did say hold its value better than a GT4.

Yeah. I did understand you :p
My intended statement is:
M2CS will not have remarkably better residuals than M3CS and M4CS, which in turn automatically means: GT4 residuals will be better!

M2 "CSL"
Lighter and more powerful than the M2.

Despite the rumors and spy photos from 2018 and 2019, BMW never actually finished the development work of the M2 CSL. With the M2 CS from November 2019, the Bavarian brand released the most hardcore version of the hot hatch but the discontinuation of the M2 series in Europe earlier in 2020 spelled the end of all hope for a flagship CSL model.

Thankfully, a BMW fan from Germany worked in collaboration with BMW’s design department to make an unofficial road-going M2 CSL based on the M2’s official design. A number of weight reduction measures shaved off approximately 242 pounds (110 kilograms) of the car’s curb weight making it almost as light as the BMW E46 M3 CSL, the owner’s most favorite BMW ever created.

One of the best bimmers ever made. A spiritual successor to the E46 M3 CSL.

The next M2 could be more competent but will likely be heavier, quieter and have steering that's a bit more numb.

BMW M

BMW M GmbH, formerly known as BMW Motorsport GmbH, is a subsidiary of BMW AG that manufactures high-performance luxury cars. BMW M ("M" for "motorsport") was initially created to facilitate BMW's racing program, which was very successful in the 1960s and 1970s. As time passed, BMW M began to supplement BMW's vehicle portfolio with specially modified higher trim models, for which they are now most known by the general public. These M-badged cars traditionally include modified engines, transmissions, suspensions, interior trims, aerodynamics, and exterior modifications to set them apart from their counterparts. All M models are tested and tuned at BMW's private facility at the Nürburgring racing circuit in Germany.
