Naaah. The C63 is still donkey shit.You beat me to it.. looks like the 4cyl is rather interesting. It’s almost like you have to adapt to a totally new style of driving to get the most out of it.
That said Matt does point out a couple of times how clunky the setup is where the rear doesn’t ‘talk’ with the front that seamlessly. Other than that the integration seems rather decent where user error like missing a gear isn’t completely detrimental.
Drag races are one dimensional. The car gets to deploy all electric boost and combustion power at once. None of the weight, flaws in drivetrain calibration or engine flexibility are exposed like they would through alpine passes or a circuits.
If you own the BMW and are desperate for more power. A cheeky stage 1 tune or remap will unlock 60-75hp for €600 and close the performance gap to The Merc.
