I haven't been following this one, but that does look good. The basic X6 is an eye-popper to start with so the M can only be better. Do we know how many horsepowers it is going to have?

Somewhere between 500 and 550 and probably closer to the latter.No word yet...at least that I've heard...on how BMW will differentiate the X6M from the X5M.The X6 is positioned as the higher performance model between the standard X5 and X6.Wonder if that will playout on the X "M"'s.Thanks! They will differentiate them the same way as they do with the M5 and M6. Pretty much the same car with a big price gap as well....I really don't see the problem here...

If we take a closer look to worldcarfans recent articles about X6M, there is something about power figures that needs to be figured out.

Back in january, they claimed : "The first of these is a V8 engine which uses twin-scroll turbochargers. As expected he doesn't mention power figures but it has been speculated that the X6 M will produce upwards of 400kW / 536hp." (BMW X6 M Teaser Video - worldcarfans).

In fact 400kw is 536 bhp and 544 PS. (cayenne turbo s is 404kw 550 PS)

What will the final numbers be ?
