X6 BMW X6 Concept & X6 Active Hybrid Concept (official pics & info)

The BMW X6 is a mid-size luxury crossover SUV by German automaker BMW. The BMW X6 is the originator of the sports activity coupé (SAC), referencing its sloping rear roof design. It combines the attributes of an SUV (high ground clearance, all-wheel drive and all-weather ability, large wheels and tires) with the stance of a coupé (styling featuring a sloping roof).
Re: BMW Concept X6 - official pics

Mind this is a Concept exclusive feature only!

Yep:

BTW, Eni, what is the internal code for this car (X5 = E70) E75? E78?

Oh dam!!! I am guessing the side mirrors will be different as well :t-banghea

Yeah, it seems so, but that could be for testing, and we will see these awesome mirrors on the real X6 after all :eusa_pray

Re: BMW Concept X6 - official pics

So the second car is not for us afterall.

So the second car is not for us afterall.

I'm sure we have some VIPs among us. ;):D Lucky bastards!

But ... I'm sure Concept X6 looks a bit more exciting that the production version of X6 after all.

So, admire the fancy looking mirrors, the new tail light LED tech that is coming with F01 7er, and the absence of B & C pillars. And the huge wheels. :D

Re: BMW Concept X6 - official pics

wow, i love it!! and like many people already said, it makes the new x5 looks old, is x6 more expensive than x5?

Re: BMW Concept X6 - official pics

Being not a big fan of crossovers, I was never sure of the X6, but it is definitely a looker. Piping hot! Arguably even the best looking BMW in recent history. Makes all other SUVs look pre-historic.

Like someone else mentioned, this is what the Cayenne should have looked like.

Re: BMW Concept X6 - official pics

i know the side mirror won't make it to the production version, but i really really hope they keep the bumpers exactly the same as this concept, becuz those are HOT.

Re: BMW Concept X6 - official pics

I like the mirrors and CS style LEDs betters, but I must say (and I am serieus) that I think the car looks a bit weird without the B and C pillars. I think it looks better with them (in satin chrome :icondrool )

I think B and C pillars are a must on every non cabrio car anyway.

Re: BMW Concept X6 - official pics

This is ugly ... Hideous!!

P.S: whom am I kidding ... I TOTALLY LOVE THIS CAR

Re: BMW X6 Concept - official pics

The more I look at it, the more I think the rear is the X6's forte. Damn it's nice. I'm sure it'll look awesome in real life... especially at night

Re: BMW Concept X6 - official pics

Love the front and those mirrors, but the over-all shape will take some time to get use to. You have to admit it's pretty round.:eusa_thin Where are the interior pics?

Re: BMW Concept X6 - official pics

I hope they don't make any changes for production.

Like said several times already:

side mirrors ... production ones will be like the ones on X5
B & C pillars ... will be visible on a production car
tail lights ... production version will feature CELIS LED tubes instead of CS inspired LED strips
rims ... I guess it will be part of Individual program

All the other things are the same on the production cars (at least as optional equipment - eg chromed running boards, bumper protective boards, extra shiny exhaust pipes etc).

:t-cheers:

Not much more than they changed these:

As Eni said: mirrors, B and C pillars, LED lights, inner headlight bling, rims

I am sure the bumpers will stay identical, only the exhaust maybe slightly less shiny?
