World Premiere : BMW Concept Active Hybrid X-Cabrio

The fact that people even considered it as a serious offering speaks volumes. The truth is, this isn't beyond the realms of possibility from BMW. :eusa_doh:

In fact, hasn't something like this been mentioned as a future crossover? I think it has.

Someone sent that to me and it has kind of surprised some who have seen it.

BMW's idea for a future vehicle concept is an idea based on the original X-Coupe Concept - Half "Z" model , Half "X"model. Known as the "Y/K" internally because of the proximity between X and Z . And K because half "X". The plan is to base it off the architecture within the next generation 1er/3er and be a compact sports car with a raised driving position like the original "X-Coupe" concept car.

As for a Convertible X model? we previously done an experiment with a concept called Z18. Which was based upon an X5, happily we wont put out a X Cabrio because we dont see a market for such a concept , we did investigate but found nothing which is why I am surprised Nissan thinks there is. Could be a car crash or like finding a pot of gold?
However it should be interesting to watch.
