Thanks for sharing, Betty.
When the E34 came out it was huge (I was about 6 and called it "big BMW") but a few year passed and it looked perfect
When the E39 came out it was too big but a few year passed and it looked perfect
When the E60 came out it was too big and really ugly but a few year passed and now it looks perfect
The F10 will start to look good in a few years time, which is handy because you'd need to be mental to shove £85k into one knowing it'll be worth around £30k in three years time.
BMWs are kind of like the oposite of Italian populus cars, which all age like milk
So, the M5 loses again. At least this time nobody can accuse Autocar of favouring the Jaguar.
lol you really want it to fail that much ?
I really couldn't give a toss which car wins any test. I don't own either care and probably never will, so why would I care what the outcome is? I don't understand why anybody would have that mentality.
All that matters to me is that I enjoy the cars I own. What somebody else thinks of it is irrelevant.
The idea that certain people have "favourite" manufacturers and get upset that a reviewer hasn't picked their own choice, especially when they don't even own that vehicle or have any intentions of owning that vehicle, is frankly completely bizarre.
, but that statement is just contradicting itself. You don't care and you post in mutliple threads the same comment about the same car ?
Crazy how hard non M owners or better yet, creators take it when an M "loses".![]()
Often that disspointment manifests itself to something irrational - and that's why they make posts about bias in the review.
I'm not saying that its right and it would be rather arrogant to call it bizarre, i guess its just human condition.

If someone demonstrates irrational behaviour then why is it arrogant to call it bizarre? It's quite a logical conclusion to draw.
It would be arrogant to view it as bizarre if it was perfectly normal behaviour, but it just didn't correspond with your own viewpoint.
If it's irrational or illogical, it definitely can indeed be bizarre. Most of us are bizarre, just in different ways. Some aspects of bizarreness that can be more destructive (irrational or illogical can be two examples) shouldn't be dismissed just because humans are capable and weak to it.
But for one to label their mistakes as bizarre is arrogant becasue they themselves also make mistakes. It's like the pot calling the kettle black.
Contrast this to the shit you post.
I couldn't give a shit if you included a compliment in your statement.
A compliment from someone as ignorant as you doesn't exactly mean much.
I'm just getting frustrated over the stupid posts you've made.
Do you realise how idiotic that sounds?
Another stupid post you made was in refernce to the sales figures
Even more stupid was that you only used the US figures to back your claims.
My advice is this: before you make a post about a particular topic in which you know shit all, do some reading or research because you're only demonstrating your sheer stupidity and ignorance to people.
You guys are probably one of the most ignorant members on this forum.
If you’re stupid enough to not realise, the business model for premium manufacturers are completely different to that of a mass-market.
Leave the serious business talk to intelligent people like your uncle UCG.
^ I'm not denying that i'm arrogant - far from it. There are many instances in my life where i've done wrong against other people and i'm sure that i'll continue to do that. I'm human and i'm first to admit i ain't perfect.
In regards to my posts to Hot Ice? Yes, i was wrong to do that.
Did i repent? Yes. I stopped making posts in this forum for a couple of days to cool down. I then made it my goal to leave Hot Ice alone for a while so hopefully one day, when this isn't an issue anymore, i'll apologise, so he and i can engage in intelligent and stimulating discussion.
You'll also see that in my post recent posts, i've managed to contain my anger to other members.
See, the difference between you and me is that when someone rebukes me, i react immediately and i repent. However, when someone points out an error in your posts (which is what i did), you get all defensive and you automatically start reverting to that person's faults. You don't even stop to realise that you were in the wrong and that maybe you should change. Ironically, that by definition, is arrogance.
