Can we stop talking about boners and get back on top-ic?
Any lady reviews of the new 7 series yet? Surely no hot girl like Tory on BMW TV that will give any BMW guy a top boner! Lol!

So it's better than an s-class if you enjoy driving, yet it's worse than a Range Rover? Riiiiight...do these guys even think this shit through before they publish it? Just another example of blowing smoke up the 'Bristish' brands arse.

This whole obsession with British mags being biased is beyond pathetic. There's a whole article there that you could comment on which explains how good the 7 Series. This is the 7 Series thread and you choose to SOLELY mention a single bullet point which mentions the Range Rover? And even then, it wasn't entirely supportive - they said the RR is "more expensive". How about commenting on the article which is 99.9% about the 7 Series and how good it is?

They're not writing the article for a global audience. It's no different to an American mag referencing a corvette, or an Australian mag referencing a Holden.

Please, just stop.

Mr Mercedes is absolutely right. Goddang pathetic British mag has to name a British car that's "better". Always the same story. Always and always.

Would have been a nice article if they didn't have to push that British agenda!
And he car itself is of course wonderful. 1755 kg 7er. Very nice indeed.

It´s an ok review with the exception of that RR reference. Yep, it´s less comfortable than the RR, and less dynamic than a C63 or a Jag XE, maybe because it is not aimed to compete with those cars? They could have said Q7, or X5, or GLE, but it´s got to be RR.

Why is this even being mentioned?!! 99.9% of the article is about the 7 Series! There is ONE sentence about the RR, in a British magazine. Big f***ing deal!!! Mr Mercedes chose to make a post SOLELY about ONE SENTENCE in the article. This obsession people have with bias is really out of hand. For God's sake, change the record!!

As @Giannis has said. This is getting very, very tedious. This is the 7 Series review thread, and the article is 99.9% about how good the 7 Series is. Mr Mercedes chose to make a post and refer to ONE sentence in the article which wasn't about the 7 Series.

They went an entire review praising the car, yet at the end had to add in some BS comment about a 'British' car still being superior. Yet the reason the 7 was deemed superior to the S-class would be the same if you were comparing the Range to the 7. The 7 is undoubtedly a better drivers car than the Range. So if their own reasoning is anything to go by, its better than both the S and the Range. Case closed.

The 7 is brilliant, which they acknowledge, yet they still had to throw in an underhanded comment about a superior 'British' product regardless of the contradictory nature of their statements. If you don't see it that way so be it. We will agree to disagree.

They went an entire review praising the car

Yet you ignored all that and picked out a single sentence? Why can't you comprehend that these magazines are 99% for a British audience? Do American mags not make references to American cars? Do Aussie mags not make reference to Aussie cars? Why did it even merit a mention? Why not comment on the fact that they loved the 7 Series?

I really couldn't care less except for the fact that it's really getting damn irritating having every single article picked apart and being brought up in threads!

TALK ABOUT THE FRIGGIN' 7 SERIES!!

I for one think you are right here. A single sentence can be very powerful though, but yes, why focus on that? People need to grow thicker skins here. Why get ofended by the mention of a british car? Especially coming from a British, no offense.
Better focus on the 7 and stop comparing it to others in this thread. Even I'm doing my best not to mention *that* other car after being asked to stop it by a mod.
