The C-Coupe is a car that Mercedes, for whatever reason, cannot seem to get right. The 3-coupe is a car BMW gets right every single time.

The BMW is the 4er concept, right? So not really a fair comparison. Having said that the C coupe profile has too much sheet metal, giving it the dreaded "midget rear wheel" syndrome. It actually looks like a squished GLE.

Oops. Didn't even notice it was the 4er concept, I was looking at the similar backdrop.

Agreed.. Strange, really. The 4er looks so much better from every possible angle imo. The C looks like a bubble or something.

Yep. It looks like a tire with too much air in it.

The Mercedes reminds me of a Saab the way the tail drops down.
The way the bootlid is positioned you can tell that the designers clashed with the engineers in trying to accommodate a sleeker look with the chosen packaging. The bootlid shows compromise.

Yeah, and not just the boot lid.
I mean, just look at that lovely render with AMG decals and put the real thing next to it. The real car is a fatty.

Ahh... That 4er Concept. That looked amazing. It resolved the very few things the 4er has wrong. A slightly tweaked 4er LCI is going to look amazing. Not to mention the next 4er, if the G11 7er is a reference.

Btw, the new A5 is still comming. Not sure about the 4er, but I bet it is going to look much better than the C-Coupe.

Ahh... That 4er Concept. That looked amazing. It resolved the very few things the 4er has wrong. A slightly tweaked 4er LCI is going to look amazing. Not to mention the next 4er, if the G11 7er is a reference.

Btw, the new A5 is still comming. Not sure about the 4er, but I bet it is going to look much better than the C-Coupe.

The 4er LCI which is about to hit the roads shortly does feature similar details to the original 4er Concept, especially with the headlights,rear lights and re-profiled front aerodynamics.

No, maybe slightly but I am not even sure of that. It's shape however is much better, that lower crease works.

I think I am going with the C-Class this time.
I like the lower roofline and higher belt line better. I also like the C-Class interior design way better.
The 3/4 window is not as large. The anti-wedge shape, though not perfect looks more solid than the BMW. Looks fresh

The BMW 4-Series possesses a couple of elements of coupes that were designed from the 1990s era, like it`s huge 3/4 window and taller green house. These elements make it look a tad dated in my opinion. Not a bad looking car by any means, just not my cup of tea.

I don't think the 4er shares even a single panel with the 3er while the front end of the C coupe is an exact graft of the sedan.

Anyway, my biggest problem with C coupe is the mismatch between front and rear. The rear is a 1 size too big.

The C-Class coupe's profile does share the hunchback similarity with Quasimodo.

However, I will have to see what it looks like in person.

For some reason, I typically find BMWs more attractive in photos and Mercedes more attractive IRL.

I usually find BMW's to look good in pictures and better in person,while MB's look bad in pictures and good IRL.The GT/S looked bad in pictures but much better IRL ,gorgeous in fact.Think the same will be true for this coupe.

The 4er looks so much better in these shots it's not even funny. The C coupe looks like an econobox from the side.

From pics I find 4er is a little bland,C coupe is much more insteresting. can't wait for RL pics of the C.
