For a 8er the wheelbase has to be as long as the one of gran lusso. This is not the case here.

The source is the spy photographer. They usually send a description with the photos based on what they read on the Internet. Again, no 6 Series Coupe.

And the spy photographers cannot be wrong? See this comparison, the door, the axles, ... I bet that the wheelbase is only any mm more. We cannot know exactly because the front wheel is a bit rotated.

No one said the 8 Series Coupe will be a bigger car. Just its positioning, which means a more luxurious design, higher premium materials inside, etc...

BMW best looking designs generally remain concepts these days. Hope this will become production. It should be...its the best looking BMW Coupe IMO since the departure of the 8 series.

So it's a rebadged 6er then...? So is this car in the spyshots causing so much confusion because it was to be the 6 series, like the alleged "6 series GT" is actually the 5 series GT?

And the car we've been seeing is a 6er. People who believe otherwise are getting played.
There is absolutely no way BMW is going to position this out of it's market.
