Right from the start, the Cayenne had to deliver typical Porsche performance not just on the road, but off it as well. The sports car manufacturer provided the ultimate proof of its SUV's ability to take the punishment of rough terrain between 2006 and 2008 in the Transsyberia Rally, a gruelling long-distance competition.
