Voyah, a brand owned by Dongfeng, presents this BEV luxury concept in Beijing. It's quite the eye feast methinks.:

Design wise it’s indeed very impressive, can’t really find anything that I don’t like on this car.

...and I can really appreciate sport/luxury BEVs' that retain the classical cabin-back, long bonnetted architecture. Certainly, not the ultimate solution in terms of packaging. But the eye-appeal is undeniable. And hey, a spacious frunk under a long bonnet isn't that bad at all.

I guess I'm "old school" in that sense. I regret that M-B hasn't used the absolutely gorgeous IAA 2015 Vision concept car as the stylistic template for the EQS/EQE. How cool would that have been ?

Totally agree about the long bonnet designs, I also believe they are the most beautiful, remind me of the mid century Rolls Royces and Mercedes which were typically long bonnet designs. With BEV they could indeed reimagine it a bit, and use the front as the main storage space. It’s not that convenient I agree but there can be ways to make it work just as good as the trunk.
Among many other reasons this is why I absolutely love the Maybach Vision 6

Similarities to Italdesigns (VAG subsidiary) Geneva 2019 "DaVinci" concept car (shown below) are not coincidental. Italdesign was apparently heavily involved in the i-Lands' design as well.

The Chinese manufacturers have made massive strides in car design. Except for the strange names their designs are quite cutting edge and make some of the established European and Japanese brands seem a little boring and conservative.

Considering Audis' close affiliation with Italdesign, I can't help but think: "WOW !, this could be a cool A9 eTron (codenamed "Landjet").

It would nicely slot a bit above the eTron GT with its' somewhat larger and more luxury oriented footprint. It's quite easy imagining it with a B-pillar and 4 doors.

You mean they have hired and paid talent, companies and employees, then learned and now can start to copy?

I see this as a template for the 5dr AMG GT.
