M8 [Video reviews] BMW 8er/M8 Coupe, Cabriolet and GranCoupe (G14/G15/G16)

The BMW M8 is the high-performance version of the BMW 8 Series (G15) marketed under the BMW M sub-brand. Introduced in June 2019, the M8 was initially produced in the 2-door convertible (F91 model code) and 2-door coupe (F92 model code) body styles. A 4-door sedan (F93 model code, marketed as 'Gran Coupe') body style was added to the lineup in October 2019. The M8 is powered by the BMW S63 twin-turbocharged V8 engine shared with the BMW M5 (F90). Official website: BMW M
What's the bet that the Urus engine (state of tune) will find its way into an RS6/7 Performance one day?

Because M8 Gran Coupe on OEM P Zero's is 0.02s slower t...

PS 4S's have also been OEM's from the start. It has been proven that P Zero's are quicker than PS 4S's on dry tarmac but this does not make them better tyres, just quicker per lap on specific circuits and more importantly on bone dry asphalt. Just about in every other environment, the Michelin's are marginally - and in some instances - considerably superior to the Pirelli's. I'm not saying the Pirelli's are awful tyres, just not up to scratch with the industry best. The latest Goodyears are also incredibly competent tyres.

BMW and Pirelli brag about P Zero's being developed specially for M5 and M8, don't know if it's same level of dedication done by Michelin

Well not quite but the F10 M5 was one of very few cars to debut with the then brand new Michelin Pilot Supersport tyres in 2011. They weren't developed specifically for the M5 but they were all the rage back then.

something's in the making.

Notice the E36 rear view mirrors aswell..dont think BMW would go as far as this for a CS version..maybe CSL Or something even more hardcore? Isn’t it counter intuitive to do such a project on the 8?
Also, we might be looking at an early LCI 8er, since those versions usually come after such.

BMW M

BMW M GmbH, formerly known as BMW Motorsport GmbH, is a subsidiary of BMW AG that manufactures high-performance luxury cars. BMW M ("M" for "motorsport") was initially created to facilitate BMW's racing program, which was very successful in the 1960s and 1970s. As time passed, BMW M began to supplement BMW's vehicle portfolio with specially modified higher trim models, for which they are now most known by the general public. These M-badged cars traditionally include modified engines, transmissions, suspensions, interior trims, aerodynamics, and exterior modifications to set them apart from their counterparts. All M models are tested and tuned at BMW's private facility at the Nürburgring racing circuit in Germany.
