Actually Ramen as I remember correctly that was is similar to the firestone case long time back (with Ford) but I think the problem is prominent in hot weather countries. Personally I'd never go with them although I have them on my X6 as OEM tyres.

Yeah, i do remember the Ford/Firestone problem for the late 90s or early 2ks I think. But that wasn't due to heat, rather it was a sh!tty construction because the whole tread was just flying off the tires. I'm not sure if that's the same problem as what you guys are facing in the mideast, but how come nobody has sued Bridgestone for providing an inferior product? I know the "sue as much as you want" laws in the US are pretty stupid but in your guys' case, that's a pretty legit lawsuit.
