Tyre help for my car

Actually Ramen as I remember correctly that was is similar to the firestone case long time back (with Ford) but I think the problem is prominent in hot weather countries. Personally I'd never go with them although I have them on my X6 as OEM tyres.

Yeah, i do remember the Ford/Firestone problem for the late 90s or early 2ks I think. But that wasn't due to heat, rather it was a sh!tty construction because the whole tread was just flying off the tires. I'm not sure if that's the same problem as what you guys are facing in the mideast, but how come nobody has sued Bridgestone for providing an inferior product? I know the "sue as much as you want" laws in the US are pretty stupid but in your guys' case, that's a pretty legit lawsuit.

If it wasn't Fords crappy suspension they would not have rolled. Ford can deny their suspension was crap, but then why did they completely redesign the suspension right after this happend.
I think the Firestones were only recalled on the Fords, nothing else. My grandfather's Tacoma with Firestone Wilderness AT were fine.

They said that the tread completely ripped off the tires, and showed the pictures of the ripped off shred. That was the same thing I saw on many other news reports. So did ford have something to do with it? Absolutely. But was there also something wrong with the tires? You damn skippy.

Yes tires coming apart is not good, but tires blow apart for different reasons all over the world everyday and most cars don't roll over because of it.

I'm just back from a short drive. Unlike my crappy wintertyres, the traction control didnt blink at all when you hit the throttle to the floor.
The car is rock steady at 100 mph.
I felt confidence when I hit the brakes hard, the car stops immediately and the car is very stable during braking.

In Sweden its only 8 degrees celsius.
Can't wait for the summer now and the hot sun so I can test the handling for real.


BTW I convinced my father not the put on new Runflats on his bimmer. So today he got normal tires for his car.
