Vs Need help with car decision (quickly)

I'd personally opt for a Cayenne Coupé which appeals to me much more in real life than it does in photos. Good range of petrol engines, nicely made inside and out, what's not to like?

When you're shopping around at this level (Q8s, RR Sports, X6s) you're in pretty rarefied territory in any event.

The price of an adequately loaded Cayenne Coupe 4S (aka with many options that are standard on other cars) is right in line with RS6, M8 GC, and loaded S560. This is the “what’s not to like” about Porsche’s.

Very difficult to recommend something without knowing what you want in a car. My favorites would be the new X5, Q8 and XC90 (facelift).
My parents are mostly looking for something that has similar space to his van. I measured it and with the second row up, it tops out 4ft x 4ft. Length and width. We've narowed it down to either a q7, potentially a q8 if my mom ever gets a chance to go out and look (screw storage space), a navigator (it comes with all of the space they would ever want) or if my dad gets his way and my mom agrees with his logic, probably the dark horse, a gmc sierra.

We did go and check out the audi and bmw over the weekend though and a few interesting bits happened. My dad said that he wasnt interested in buying until the summer or perhaps spring, and the salesman basically lost the motivation to deal with us. His entire enthusiasm changed and when my dad asked him for a brochure, the salesman said he would email it to us and when my dad forgot to give him his email the salesman looked at the card and didn't even bother to ask for it. My dad remembered to add the email to the card and then the saleman acted like he needed it.

For the bmw guy, my dad mentioned again up front that he wasn't interested in buying right now and the bmw guy showed us some filthy loaners vehicles instead of the new ones. Then he also offered 20% off and said "that if someone offered him that deal, he'd take it." Luckily my dad wasn't interested in buying something right now. Even after we mentioned it three times that we wanted new, he still tried to get us into a loaner.
