Honestly , more interesting it seems the fact that the grill got bigger , and MB fans made fun of BMW for it's bigger grill

It looks even bigger than the 7er

The grille on the BMW resembles a large squirrel; it was incredibly ugly, and there's no other grille like it in history. BMW must have realized its mistake after receiving criticism, and it's reverted to a conservative philosophy in its new models. Mercedes' iconic grille looks big and beautiful. There's nothing wrong with that.

Yes, making judgments when this still isn't the real thing is a fools errand. People always say it's "95% accurate" but that last 5% really matters.

I've seen too many stunning concept cars, allegedly "90-to-95% accurate" being "tossed" after having been translated into series production form. Sadly, there are very few exceptions.

I personally don't think they will add stars to the grill of the S-class, it won't suit this cars persona. Adding more chrome or silver metallic effect to the grill especially the inner cheese grater part would do wonders. Black surround like AMG models of the 80s would look good and sinister.
That render looks terrible with the stars and its not accurate as per the render.

We only have 8 weeks till 29-Jan 2026 when this car will be launched, so any renders that come now should be chucked in the bin.

All we want to see now is the real car with the covering coming off bit by bit.

I´m not sure if this is a render. It looks exactly like the parts which have been leaked.
And MB puts also stars in the new CLA grill

That GLC grille is an afterthought, like literally. And adding millions of led’s and illuminating every possible inch is not cute either, lol. BMW reinterpreted their big and vertical grille in a new way, so you can’t say “there was no grille like that in their history”
When BMW illuminated the kidneys some people made fun of it as well, now it’s Mercedes doing the exact same, but their version is just tacky. It was the same case when they enlarged their grilles too. All I see is hypocrisy, lol.

Yes- I find it borderline annoying.

Perhaps the most contrived, irratating element on a vehicle presenting an exterior design that otherwise unoffensive, pleasant at the very most and arguably a bit boring.

Tech and engineering speak for the GLC EQ. The exterior design does not, as it could conceivably grow stale quickly. And should sales falter, the culprit can be easily identified.

It’s not the most offensive thing in the world but it’s clearly an afterthought, since it’s been also confirmed by the design team as well. If you take the grille and the taillights there’s basically nothing new with the design. Like you said, just looks anonymous.
