X5 [Spyshots] Next generation BMW X5 (3rd gen) 2015?

The BMW X5 is a mid-size luxury crossover SUV produced by BMW. The X5 made its debut in 1999 as the E53 model. It was BMW's first SUV. BMW marketed the X5 officially as a "Sports Activity Vehicle" (SAV), rather than an SUV, to indicate its on-road handling capability despite its large dimensions.
Off topic: Hope the non-Run Flat tyre option comes with the new X5.

We lost the 3rd Run-Flat on the X1 yesterday, over a rail crossing (actual train track broke the tire inner side wall and made two neat bubbles) X1 has only 21898 km's on the clock (I HATE Good Year ROF fitted to the X1...go to hell!)
Will demand non-ROF wheels on my next Beemer, for sure!;) Total cost for wheels to date is more than one months installment on X1 @ R9000.00 or +/- $1000.00:facepalm:

I changed out my tyres to non- RFT on both the X5 and X6, and I carry a spare.

Only Side By Side Comparison...F15 X5 vs E70 X5 in FEP level camo. No question whatsoever the 3 Gen F15 X5 will be considerably larger than the 2nd Gen E70. Snagged some brand new interior shots of the F15 X5... I'll post up a little later. Don't forget who made the F15 X5 "Lines" call....90 days ago......;) Thanks. PalBayView attachment 16128

Looks really good. Another winning design from BMW.

I was skeptical first, but with every new pair of photos this car starts to look hotter and hotter. The rear look sexy and is instantly recognasible as an X5. I think we will see it at Frankfurt in september. PS: the 4th pic is my favourite and thanks to Human for the photos.

Get rid of them ASAP. Funny thing is that i used to always get a flat with run flats, not anymore since I switched to normal tires. Don't know what it is with BMW and run flats. The tire shop made me sign papers since BMW "recommends" them.

Of course they're not going to be upgraded. Why would they make them better than the 7 Series?

The current gen X5 doesn't inspire the confidence on the inside as it does on the outside. Materials are lacking. A full leather dash will take care of that, like on the X5 ///M.

A full leather dash is optional on an E70. I've seen it once but I can't remember where.

You can order a leather dash on E70 X5 already ...

Still the interior quality is subpar for this day and age. It looks nice, but it's 2013 now and it needs a bit more. The next X5 will take care of that. I have high hopes for the F15 interior..

Now I can imagine you and me and our expectations. The Cayenne, GL, RR & Sport set the bar and a whole new series of standards very high. I am not hoping for BMW to deliver something on par. I am expecting above and beyond from the ultimate driving machineo_O;)(y) Since let's face it and be honest, our beloved X5's are so VERY expensive even @ entry level....

You go tell him @EnI & @SCOTT27 and then send my regards to Herr Reithofer.

Lekker aand Klier:)

^You seriously believe it to be above the standard set by the RR Sport, this I highly doubt if the regular RangeRover is anything to go by. You might not like its styling but there's no denying the quality in my mind.

That is true....and its about who gives most bang for the buck. A lot of options are standard on competition, just to give them an edge. A luxury car is supposed to have certain standard features which make it a luxury car and set its aside from non-luxury cars.
