X5 [Spyshots] Next generation BMW X5 (3rd gen) 2015?

The BMW X5 is a mid-size luxury crossover SUV produced by BMW. The X5 made its debut in 1999 as the E53 model. It was BMW's first SUV. BMW marketed the X5 officially as a "Sports Activity Vehicle" (SAV), rather than an SUV, to indicate its on-road handling capability despite its large dimensions.
You would be surprised that at least for BMW customers that the driving experience that " is it a BMW" remains the top listed enquiry over interior detailing and LED KonntSmide lighting.

I will agree with you on one condition (otherwise I am telling 1/3 the truth) Get Rid of Run Flat Tires. Ruins the ride an the wallet, ask me I have proof black-on-white. No, really Scott it's nasty! And 22000km's R12000.00 later (that relates to 2x installments on the X1) for 4x ROF Tires is just that little bit too far mate.;)

I expected something more revolutionary in the interior before I saw the first interior shots an year ago. For me its ok, but I think both RR and RRS look better and so Cayenne,ML and GL. That interior beats only the Q7 which anyway I think it will be replaced soon by a new model.

You haven´t seen the whole Interior and you want to judge if it is good or bad? Wait untill it is realesed.

C'mon man, the center console with the navi screen, steering wheel, air vents, much of the commands are visible. You can figure how it will look at least 75% percent. All that really matters is visible !

But you are making a comparsion with a prototyp and a revealed car.

Know you want to make a comparsio?. There will be 100% better colour combos for the X5 interior which will the x5 tranfsform to be a good competitor to the RR .

I totally agree. And to make another point, BMW should make room for spare tyres when people decide to equip their vehicles with one.

Why can't the typical BMW customer not want both the "BMW-ness" and top-notch interior appointments? Afterall, it is a luxury vehicle, first and foremost.

I really hope that the plastic air vents will go away from BMW, I think it looks very cheap, while BMW trying to upgrade all the materials like using more woods and leather, but why go back to black plastic air vents in every models? even in 7er. this is just so disappointed. even E65 have a chrome coated air vent.

A lot has changed in BMW's on top-half of dashboard/console in last 8-10 years(from double hump to ipad style nav). Not a whole lot has changed on the center console below nav screen. Other than little more aluminum accents here and there, not a whole lot has changed on the knobs, buttons etc. as well as steering buttons. Still similar to my 8-year old E60.
I will hold my interior judgement till final pics. :)

Wasn't this supposed to debut in Shanghai?! :arghh: I'd have much preferred the F15 to the X4 Concept:rolleyes: Regarding BMW's latest interiors, it seems that the free-standing monitors aren't that well liked, reviewers complaining that the screens looked like they should descend into the dashboard before noting their disappointment when they didn't. This would perhaps be more acceptable if they were thin, but they're actually quite thick ( and thus less attractive ), the new X5's in particular, which is disappointing when Audi's are so slim ( I think I remember reading the new A3's screen was the thinnest in any production car ). That said, the current 1, 3, 5, 6 and 7 Series' interiors are considerably better than their predecessors' IMO. BTW, what do you think of the fact that there will be RWD versions of the F15? ( See the X5 section of that website, bimmerpo.... )

I have seen the New A3 and could explore the interior. IMO the The thin screen looked a litte bit cheap because of how thin it is. Tthe build qualitiy and design of the interior of the A3 was really really good but I don´t like the exteriour.
