X5 [Spyshots] Next generation BMW X5 (3rd gen) 2015?

The BMW X5 is a mid-size luxury crossover SUV produced by BMW. The X5 made its debut in 1999 as the E53 model. It was BMW's first SUV. BMW marketed the X5 officially as a "Sports Activity Vehicle" (SAV), rather than an SUV, to indicate its on-road handling capability despite its large dimensions.
I doubt if we are still the biggest market- China seems to be biggest market if I am not mistaken.
I meant, US is currently biggest market in SUVs for BMW, but I am sure it will be overtaken by China very soon.

2011 worldwide sales:
BMW X1: 126,429
BMW X3: 117,944 (US: 27,793)
BMW X5: 104,827 (US: 40,547)

Around 29% of total Spartanburg production of 301,519 Xs in 2012 was sold in US.
China accounted for 326,444 deliveries of BMW and MINI vehicles in 2012. Someone has a breakup of this number for China?

Is that a real rendition of the 3rd gen. X5 above, any updates on when it will come out in the U.S. and Price point??
Having trouble deciding on wether to get the 2013 Audi Q5 quattro 2.0 or WAITING for the New X5.
Wondering if the X5 will have a smaller option in the engine (Inline V6). Any comments or Advice on either cars or how they match up?

Production starts in July 2013. I believe they will have a four cylinder option on the X5.

Thanks empower, think they'll debut the X5 at the Geneva auto show? I'm anxious to see what the new gen looks like
Anything on price points?

Only Side By Side Comparison...F15 X5 vs E70 X5 in FEP level camo. No question whatsoever the 3 Gen F15 X5 will be considerably larger than the 2nd Gen E70. Snagged some brand new interior shots of the F15 X5... I'll post up a little later. Don't forget who made the F15 X5 "Lines" call....90 days ago......;) Thanks. PalBay

The F15 looks a lot larger than E70 and I don't like this. Looks too big and large to be very appealing to me, but I can't know for sure what hottie is hiding underneath that camo.

I agree, worryingly.

That is why I like the X6 more, own/drive one and love the Cayenne. Sporty, sleek, broad wide stance - mind you the E70 in M-Sportpack and X5M does have all the pre-mentioned properties. so fine! And if the X7 is coming, WHY make this a Barge of an X3 that may loose THE famous X5 appeal? The world loves it, don't spoil it. Not every new car has to be larger in next generation, why!?
Then M-B did good by shrinking the A-class, showing some sense...for the roads won't get any larger in future and not all needs a bus, no sir! We need a BMW;)

I am not worrying too much because we have other gorgeous looking SUVs like the new Range Rover and new Range Rover Sport, then the Cayenne, and GL and ML are looking fine too. Q7 is too old to be desirable. That car really needs a replacement and for what I know that replacement is on the road.
