X3/X4 Next X3: Spyshots & CGIs

Received my copy of Autocar through the post today and the pictures in the magazine look great. The scans do distort the pictures somewhat.

With the camouflage on I thought it was going to look too much like the old one but these pictures affirm that it is more X1 and X5.

Nice one BMW!

If you compare the AMS cover with the Autocar scans, you can see that the scan distorts the front of the car quite a lot. Just saying

Not sure where you read that South, but it's N55

Thanks for setting this straight! Autocar stated 295 lb ft of torque @ 1300 rpm (and not @ 1200 rpm), so I thought it's the N54.

Please, please, please! Don't let the front have those horrendous lamps that seem to be leaking out. That is the laziest styling job that I have ever seen. You can't have an X3 with worse lamps than it's the two SAV/SUVs that BMW just released!

Interior doesn't look bad, reminds me a little of the Q5 actually. Quality seems to be better than the first generation which was pretty lousy. That trim wood though is pretty ugly.

the rear looks great, need to see more pics of the headlights.
