Those rear lights remind me of the E60 5er from the side

I noticed that. It's like that M-B Concept we saw a year or two ago that had the Dame Edna E60 style headlights. I have a feeling it's Habib's hands on these models that we're seeing, that he incorporated into M-B before moving back to BMW.

For me, maybe new E class 2016. Now is a project in wood, 2014 working prototype, complete with everything to start the test, 2016 in the showrooms.

I know mods a bit off topic, but all day I have been trying to figure out what concept car you are referring to.....Do you know the name?

Very possible as the current one was at this stage in late 2005-2006, with us seeing the car testing by January 2007. It later was introduced in early 2009. At this stage it's possibly in the design competition and not a final choice, but very much one of them.

So you're saying that clay model may be the new E class, if so it looks too close to the S class

Sorry, I got lost there for a minute. I meant to say that the W213 is in that stage currently, but not that the vehicle above is exactly the W213. The C222 design is far past this stage of course as something like this clay model would date back to no later than 2010. I'm sure design patents for the C222 have been filed and are being deferred like the W222's and usually when those are done, a far along pre-production prototype is used. Whoever leaked those photos anyway is asking for an early retirement and bankruptcy, unless it's part of some reverse-psych self-promotion. Looking at it I believed it is the S-Class coupe, but after seeing other comments I can't be too certain.

I have no idea why anyone worried and speculated about them being elsewhere, when pretty much it was established 4 months ago that both the turn signals and the reverse lights would mimic the GLK facelift taillight cluster. The W212.5 seems to do so as well as the upcoming CLA, which I believe were accidentally unveiled in a patent.

W222 in New Orleans, nothing revealing except for the fact that its in FEP in the US so an official press release should be in a few months hopefully before 2013

Well will see more revealing info in the coming months, but the press release will be in December. The FEP and introductory phase of the W222 seems to parallel the W140 that actually was unveiled in December 1990 via press release(no internet of course back then) and then later made it's public debut on March 4, 1991. I figure that the W140 was already seen in February 1991 issues of German magazines(delivered in late 12/90 or 1/91), so that somewhat could be an example of what to expect for the W222, plus earlier info in October/November with the technology at our disposal.

off topic but the guy in that video eerily sounds exactly like my boyfriend, right down to the accent (He is also from New Orleans), tone, and "Nasstyy!" slang lol.

But interesting liason between the W222/140 as well as about the W140 press release, because it does indeed look like the W222 is going that route.

Official information from my dealer, that the car will be presented in Germany in March 2013.

^ dealers don't give official info like that, sorry.

sorry, but you are wrong.
i was sales manager @ Mercedes a few years and to my old customers wich bought many cars from me, i told them also such things. And i also said it 2 months ago, that my ex-co-workers told me that the debut of the W222 will be in March 2013 in Genf.

^ You might want to browse back through this thread and see what has been posted already 'because the dealer said so'
