If speculations could come to an end, it would be better. The exterior design of the W 222 is not totally finalized;that's why the mule is so Frankenstein-like. The real test cars for the 2013 S-Class will appear in the coming period(weeks or months). And then you will see the S has its own powerful look.

I thought the same thing. This mule is for chassis development and maybe engine cooling and stuff due to the new grill. Those parts are WAY too similar to the current car for it to be the W222

MB should do to the W222 like the W220 did to the W140. Smaller but roomier.

The car should get shorter, wider and lower.

I was going to say, that the pics remind me of a 140. And that is a good thing, IMO.

I say keep the size the same. However, MB is missing a market by not importing the standard wheel base to the US.

I don´t think MBZ fan is refering to the style but to the proportions, the W222 is gonna be huge, as the F01 is bigger than the E65, is just the natural gwoth of every new gen.

I like the spirit behind it. You can recognise the wheel archs, sideand windowline (although altered) of the current gen, however I like what they wanted to do.
That side job and especially that front are very good-looking. Fresh, innovative, classy and so MB... Even retro, despite te very modern appearance.

Way to go!:usa7uh:
