The excessive parts bin sharing in MB interiors is really starting to get to me. Same screen setup on every model limits the design. I get it for cost purposes but starts to look tired. Air vents from E coupe and everything from C or E.

But the current outgoing model already shares alot of interior parts with the previous C Class and E Class. So impo it doesn't bother me as much.

It's still the world's favorite (German) ambulance or ice cream truck!

You're acting like the G-class didn't already have interior pieces cribbed from other models.

EDIT: Didn't realize this was an old post, I see people addressed this above.

I just love Mercedes for keeping the original design, but making it more livable. I can see an entry level G450 or G500 with the I6 for the U.S. this time around. G560 and the G63. Later a new G65. I hope they make another Landaulet.

Although I am not the biggest fan of diesels these days, the new diesel I6 would make sooooo much sense in this.

I'm thinking I might not even need the AMG G63. A G560 may very well do the trick for this brick. Can't wait to get rid of my RR Sport for this.

I wonder if they'll keep the standard V8 in the G550 in the U.S? I could see a G500 with an I6 (435hp) as the standard model forcing you to buy the G63 if you want the V8.
