I very much doubt Porsche will do a new 928 as it would eat into Bentley's pie. Don't forget Bentley has the new Conti GT and the EXP 10 Speed Six in the pipeline.

That looks mid-engined which is unplausible VAG are dead committed to electric supercars under Audi and Porsche. Furthermore the 911 is already a 2+2 so even as with an ICE I don’t see any room for this car. The Panamera is the new 928.

If anything we could see an electric two seater coupe to complement the Tycan.

Quite recently, there have been some subdued murmurs that VAG (Audi and/or Porsche) have begun development of a 2 door 2+2 BEV GT underpinned by the PPE BEV platform. It is speculated that the car may be produced by Audi at its' Böllinger Höfe Audi Sport facility. Should the project actually come to fruition, it is predicted that the production car will be presented in 2022 or 2023 at the earliest. A concept precusor is anticipated.
