I really like it i think its a exceptional interior love the seats and design. Also i feel itblooks very much above the c class which is great overall i actually think it even looks nicer in some ways thrn the S class Interior.

As for compared to thr current E this is miles and miles ahead i know many wont agree but i feel this interior can easily sit and dominate the uper class luxury cars like the 7 series.

The great other news is looking at how MB is going we can expect simalar in the new GLE which will be like 3 steps ahead of where it is now.

I love the interior modern yet classy.

Awesome.

The top pic basic instruments look a bit strange at first like they not fully a part of the dash design and the small screen definitely does look odd as well. The instruments in the bottom pic backlit in orange reminds me of older Mercs from the 1960's and 70's kind of retro looking I kinda like it a lot. The interior is mega luxurious and is easy a match for the S-Class in my opinion, best interior in its class.

I'm happy with how this interior turned out:rolleyes:

However, its the technology that I'm most interested in, and, - the reliability of the same. This car better be on Toyota-level reliability, or else...

Few questions for fellow members:

1. would you consider AIRMATIC in W213 a must?
2. if you had MB with AIRMATIC, how reliable was it?
3. what is the potential cost of failure of the AIRMATIC? I just saw a Bilstein module for AIRMATIC, with a whopping 600 pounds price (and that is for smaller engines. The price goes to almost 800 pounds for 500 V8 models :D)

1. I agree with whoever said that the transition from the orthogonal screens to the circular vents is not seamless. It could turn out better.

2. So these pictures confirm the availability of two different instrument clusters & command screen. You get either a fully digital cockpit, or you get a traditional set of dials with a small screen in the middle and a second screen with black margins around it bigger then the screen itself. Looks very cheap in such an interior - it shouldn't!
3. Overall it's a very plush interior, amazing for this class, given the competition. I'm stunned with the execution and the result. It's a bit short of perfect, but it's still on top of the competition.

Quite cool the way the stitching runs along the door and follows a line all he way over the dash and back over the other door.

It would have been cool if the black gloss plastic piece was finished in leather.

It looks amazing. Everything but the one picture on the last page with the massive bezel around the COMAND screen. I'm guessing that is a base model for use as a taxi etc. But still, MB needs to figure out a way to get rid of giant bezels around their COMAND displays.

I have AIRMATIC on my S205 today. I am very pleased. When I buy W213, I will definitely choose AIRMATIC again. It has developed more to the W213. New compressor and new bellows.

Man sized door handles.
You can grab onto these when going onto truns or pulling the door closed.
Something I missed in the previous S-Class. Quite a few luxury cars dont have these for the sake of interior style. The previous S-Class did not have them.

They Remind me of the handles in the W123..W124 and W126 Mercedes of 80s and 90s lovely.

Indeed, looks better than the S-Class to my eyes. That's a hell of a nice looking interior, but I assume those are with the higher spec levels. Would be interesting to see the cheapest trims.

The base screens are pretty awful though, I agree..

WOW!
Great work.:woot:
What I really like is that, they have improved the graphics on the dash. And as I understand, you can change the design. This is really cool.
Because the 222 has a bad one. It looks cheap. But I'm sure, upcoming restyling will solve this problem.

Interior looks gorgeous and upscale. Well done MB.

Wait, didn't you just say: "That vent next to the dials is rather ugly placed. But don't mind my comment, I don't like the MB interiors to begin with. Those round vents are as horrible as always."

This is lovely but I am getting worried all these goodies may just take the W213 way over my budget.
