If it is, thats a lot of growth. It`s about as large as the current E coupe. ... I`ve come to the conclusion that it`s not as S.
The design language does not have that excutive upper class presence and feel of a high line Mercedes model.
This has got to be the new C droptop.

That's why I guess. Is the upcoming C cab/coupe, and perhaps the next E cab/coupe will grow in size to compete better with 6er.... ?

With the success of the C-class coupe, there is no reason for the E not to actually be an E, and move up the luxury ladder. Mercedes can capture more market share with a C-cabrio (A5 &3-series) and still contend in the upper end. The table is now set, and it is time for the E two doors to become a true high end luxury coupe.cab.

The best option would be this mule being a C213 camoed to compete with te 6er. Then the S-Coupe should move upmarket.

For it to be the next gen CL/S coupe the front resembles too much of the SL class which is much smaller i think this could be the W205 coupe or vert but then again it looks like its too big to be a C convertible from that slopping roofline it looks like the W205

No question that is a good looking CGI. But it is no S. Next generation E,....that would be perfect. Sadly, it seems that the latest Joe with his CGI program can put out better looking designs than the guys MB actually pays.

The length estimated by comparing to the tire size is around 4.70 meters, which would suggest a 2015 C-Class cabrio, based on the new longer 2014 W205 C-Class. Some dimensions to compare. ;)

I find that interesting as I found this photo from a German patent filed on my dad's birthday in 2001 for a C203 cabriolet. It must have been for Geneva, but was canceled at the last minute as the date given is March 5, 2001! Notice how the plate says "Geneve '01". Does anyone also the W201 cabrio that was custom made?

Sure is the length estimated by comparing to the tire size around 4.70 ?

If the weels are 19" (19 255/40 for CL) the weelbase estimated is about 298 (like CL)...

EDIT>>>

With weels 17" I have 306 of weelbase :bookworm::wideyed:
With 18" I have 325 of weelbase :wideyed:
With 19" more...... :wideyed: :wideyed::wideyed:

IT'S A VERY LARGE CAR !!!

Interesting, thanks for checking it. Maybe my monitor distorts the pic somehow? :wideyed:

My calculation for 19" rims would be: 482.6mm (19" rims in mm) x 5.71 (ratio of WB/rim dia.) = 2756mm

No distortion on your monitor

I have ratio of WB/rim dia = 6,89 ! I double checked it !

Have you misured rims dia horizontally? (the weelbase is horizontal) I don' t think your monitor can to change the result, all measurements are horizontally.
Furthermore, I measured external diameter visible of my 18" rims (directly on my car), and this is 495/500 mm (more than 2.54 x 18 = 45.72, i think this is internal diameter). So in my calculation for 18 rims I have put a diameter of about 470 mm. I have obtained the 17" by proportion .

Note that 470 mm for the 18" is a very conservative measure, it should be 495/500 mm

so even more:

17" 3,22 m
18" 3,41 m

CL 2,95 m
