S-Class [Spyshots] 2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe/Cabriolet

The Mercedes-Benz S-Class, formerly known as Sonderklasse, is a series of full-sized luxury sedans and coupés produced by Mercedes-Benz. The S-Class is the designation for top-of-the-line Mercedes-Benz models and was officially introduced in 1972 with the W116, and has remained in use ever since. The S-Class is the flagship vehicle for Mercedes-Benz, being positioned above the other Mercedes-Benz models.
Am I the only one that is noticing a lot of resemblance with the BMW 6 series cabrio in terms of shape and size. In the 3/4 from the back picture the general volume speaks 6-series to me. It's really funny.
The front also is very much in line with the sl design which is no good news to me. Definitely not an s class coupe. Not big enough.

That's exactly what I said, re: it resembling a 6-Series Vert so closely. However, IMO it resembles the previous 6er more, probably because the proportions are no match for the new 6ers.

VERY interesting if the license plate holder goes to the bumper. I can't remember the last benz to do that, if any!

Very strange car we got coming here, but I still think its bigger than it seems because of the distance, it looks smaller.

this looks like a W205 cabio, because the S class cabio is supposed to be based on the ODC from 2007 and this resembles nothing of it

i'm already unsure about the front end, i hope it isnt the S cabrio
but the shape of the headlights are similar to the W205s

No way this thing is a C-class convertible because :

- the exhaust look to be the same style as the V8 powered E and CL coupe, which is unlikely to be featured on the C-class
- There is some space on the windshield (on the middle behind the interior mirror) for some device which is only available on the E or S/CL-Class, not on the C and which isn't featured on the prototype of the W205
- the line of the roof is too soft for being a soft top convertible

So I think this is the new CL-Class/S-class coupe, but I could be wrong...

Its also wearing the CL600's wheels in some of those shots. New CL would be my guess, look at the headrests, not going to find that fine of a design in a C-Class.

After Mercedes was informed that you purchased a BMW, they decided to build a one of a kind Mercedes coupe just for you. For some reason they are just determined to win you back.

LOL, I'll be back, and technically I haven't completely left since I still have a Mercedes. I may chuck the Lexus and the CLK for an facelifted E-Class next spring depending on how some things go, but thats for another thread.

The overall look it´s quite similar, but the front is lower, and the front lights are inspired by the F800 and the F125!

and with those details you can add that its B pillar less, i been wanting to doubt this being the S cabrio because of the grille but when i saws the headrests and the missing B pillar i realized its a S cabrio its just so small like the size of the 6er the CL looks bigger
