I believe that Auto Bild is best in creating the realistic rendering, especially for the German cars. Autocar CGI are little less serious in my opinion.

The Concept Ocean Drive was a fascinating gem, as four-door convertible design study of a class of luxury automobiles, which has almost disappeared from our roads. Like the luxury convertibles of years gone by, this showpiece from Stuttgart represents elegance, lifestyle and exclusivity of the highest level, in other words an automobile culture at its finest and most desirable form. The same probably applies to the new S-Class, which will be shown in 2013 for the first time.

The new S-Class range will also include a convertible, but contrary to the Ocean Drive Concept not as 4-door, which was rejected for reasons of stability. The S-Class Cabriolet, internally called A217 series, will receive an extremely flat windscreen, as well as the coupe, and different from the sedan versions. However, to what extent the developers in Sindelfingen still have another variation (maybe called A222) in the drawer, possibly for later, we can not predict.

I have a nagging suspicion that this new large Mercedes-Benz coupe/cabriolet will leave the BMW 6 series cars appearing somewhat inadequate. Even under the swirly foil, this car really looks spot on !!

It already looks amazing and very very hot ! I think this will be my favourite Benz when it will be revealed. CL was always my favourite Merc and this looks just perfect for that !
