The Mercedes-Benz W205 is the fourth generation of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class which was produced by Daimler AG between 2014 and 2021. The W205 C-Class was preceded by the W204 C-Class and superseded by the W206 C-Class. The fourth-generation C-Class was available in sedan (W205), station wagon/estate (S205), coupe (C205), cabriolet (A205) and long-wheelbase sedan (V205) body styles.

These are the earlier spy-pics, with luxury grille. However, star on the hood is not shown, and probably won't be until the car is officially presented. Also, there is plastic cover in front of the grille, there are no spy-pics of luxury grille without that plastic over it. Yet:)

Luxury grille has three bars, Sport one has two.

Thanks, W201. For some reason, I still prefer the luxury grille to the sport one. I love the star on the hood.

for the first time since the W203 the luxury grille looks better than the sport on the W205 based of these pics. the sport grille looks cheap in these spy pics probably because its too similar looking to the CLA

I just hope that interior won't look like this one:

But when we get back and look spyshots we make conclusion that it will be pretty similar

That's the interior guys, though I can't imagine the gauges being so simple, but we shall see!

I might be in the minority here but I like the direction they're taking with the new interior. The IP has a very CL-esqe look with the chrome HVAC controls and the circular vents. The current interior with the keypad on the right and the menu buttons on the left has been played out for far too long and it's time for change.

I like it as well. And circular vents are apparently here to stay as all MB interiors will be sporting them at least into the near future.

my main dislike is the free standing display that looks out of place on almost all the entry level MB models, maybe with the exception of the CLA though i must say this is not upscale enough to but a boundary between the C class and CLA which are in similar segments

Why do they made it look like an expensive A-Class on the interior?? I rather have a "cheap" versión of the S-Class interior :( Well outside looks great

I would be very happy if this was it, its super fly:)

But i think it will be a little bit more differentiated from the S

Oh no please lets hope they make it look just like this!! Some of us won't be able to afford an S-Class soon haha, but maybe later we could get a new C-Class. Are there any coupe spy shots already? I think i'll look for them although it's very unlikely.

I think MB finally found some exterior design direction (provided they won't suddenly decide it doesn't work and change it), interior is a different story, circular, tablet-like on-board computer screen, simplistic, roundy non-German feel (at least under today's and yesterday's standards) are to stay. But this one really looks too simple, non-hooked up till now..

As already known, introduction in Detroit, In the showroom in Germany probably March 29th 2014. Comes with a lot of options known from the S-Klasse, like Airbalance, Airmatic DC, Burmester Soundsystem (don't know if 3D is meant), keyless-Go and HUD ;)

Airmatic (as an option I presume?) will be a first in the segment, just wonder how it will effect weight...

Also I can't grasp the why? of it. Adaptive damper tech on normal steel springs is at it's peak in terms of development and production. Also who will load a C-class to the xtreme of needing the self-leveling functionality?

If you're making a kicking movement with your foot at and under the backside of the car, the trunklid opens automatically. Comes in handy when you're packed
