I want the W205 to have a real, proper coupe version like BMW and Audi have, and I want MB to drop the E-class coupe and make a real E coupe to compete with the 6er.

Yes, C class coupe looks less special than the 3 series coupe. But, I understand how MB think their strategy here. E coupe is rival with the 3 series coupe and A5. They tried to make a coupe for customers who don`t have money for the E coupe, and they make it less special than the E coupe because his cheaper than the E coupe. They make the C coupe for young customers which are known for not having money to buy some E or S classes. They made a cheaper MB for younger customers and that car must not cannibalize the E class coupe. You want to be fancy go buy E coupe.

The C-Coupes` design being bashed in these threads gives that impression. It is not true. The C-coupe is the true rival of the 3-Series coupe. Just as the C-Class sedan is the rival of the 3-Series sedan.
This is one of the reasons the C-coupe is offered in AMG form (to rival the M3). The E-Coupe is not offered in the AMG form to do battle.

The E-coupe is a 2-door luxury performance option to the sedan and is almost $5000.00 more expensive than the BMW 335i coupe. (The 335i coupe is priced a little higher than the C350 but is still in C-coupe range.)

Like, the 5ers (BMW) screen was lik an X-Box compared to the Merc's which in comparison is like the original Nintendo from the 80's. I'm not much of a car-techy so it doesn't bug me, and I find the M-B's screen with the Classic-Style radio graphics-play nice on its own.

About those renderings, not my cup of tea, and I don't see how it could look any more futuristic than that! It's already too futuristic-y, IMO.

The real thing looks like a W204 with better proportions so far. M-B is taking a page out of BMW's proportion-book and making the proportions more athletic and "light on their feet".

Are you serious? In any case it will 100 % get LEDs and an e-brake from start, unlike the F30 where we'll have to wait for facelift. But in any case would you really consider this over the F30? I know you love the F30.


About CFRP BMW is ahead of all, just behind McLaren and now Lamborghini, but those are in an other price range.

I really hope that the new C class will look better than F30. I think that`s not a difficult job. Don`t misunderstand me F30 looks very good especially the front which looks as a 3 series should always look -agressive. But I think that MB could design a superb C class. I always liked C class design. Anyway, I think the C will look very luxurious and that means it will be on a different theme than the sporty look of the 3er. C class was always very elegant and not agressive ( not talking about the AMG) and 3er has the sporty tradition behind it. The E90 pre-facelift looked somehow elegant not agressive. But it was a boring design. Now Bmw is on a good way with design and Mercedes seems to be too.

Personally i like the new F30 but it's rear lights looks dated even compared to the FL E90..same feeling i had when the E90 debuted with it's horrible rear lights.Hope i like IRL.

About that W205 rendering i think it's close to the real deal just the final car will be a little bit boxier which IMO is great since i love how dominating and bold the W212 is.
