The Mercedes-Benz W205 is the fourth generation of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class which was produced by Daimler AG between 2014 and 2021. The W205 C-Class was preceded by the W204 C-Class and superseded by the W206 C-Class. The fourth-generation C-Class was available in sedan (W205), station wagon/estate (S205), coupe (C205), cabriolet (A205) and long-wheelbase sedan (V205) body styles.

Will there be any engineered by AMG version of the C, like the A250? This design with an AMG version will be a killer product.

WOW, that rear end looks fantastic!!

It could end up being on my familiy´s garage in a couple of years. The only doubt is the engine. The C350 with 340 PS is just to much maybe. But a C280 Sport with let´s say 260 PS would be perfect.

The width of the rear shoulders harkens back to the GLA? :)

S205 C-Class Estate Spied in Sindelfingen [Photo Gallery]

The fourth generation of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class is getting nearer to its release date, which should happen in January 2014, at the North American International Auto Show.

We'll most likely see just the W205 sedan in Detroit, with the S205 Estate/Wagon, C205 Coupe and A205 Cabriolet to arrive in a two year time span from now.

The S205 generation of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Estate will be the first to be unveiled after the sedan, with the launch most likely being programmed for the 2014 Geneva Motor Show in March.

The following spy photos depict the second time that a pre-production C-Class Estate has been caught on the road, only this time we're talking about a model being spied right near Daimler's technology center in Sindelfingen, which is probably where most if not all pre-production prototypes wearing the three-pointed star are built.

Compared to the first model caught by our spy photographers, this one is wearing a tad less camouflage, so some of its design details are easier to make out, especially at the rear. Compared to the sedan version, which is technically a mini S-Class as far as design goes, the C-Class Estate will apparently get horizontal taillights in the style of the GLA crossover/SUV, with the width of the rear “shoulders” harking back to the same model.

Those AMG pics look very nice. I like the C55 AMG moniker much more than the C63 one.

will the new C205 also come out with 2 models (different front) like luxury and sport?

Probably. Whether or not both variants are offered in all markets is another thing. They only offer the sports variant E-class here in Australia now so I'm guessing they're going to ditch the luxury variant on the W205 as well. They're a very rare sight here anyway on the w204.

Better quality pics + interior:

I really like how this car is shaping. The rear is perfect IMO. And if it is available that interior with the central console in alu as well then I have no problems with it.
That's nice. I do like the exterior. It will take some time for me to like the interior.

The wooden trim just looks horrible, it looks imho as bad as the ones from older Bmw's. It looks like a painted pice of plastic. Furthermore they go to BMW style with the Speedo-arrangement. Two big tubes with parts of them being a Display. And i dont think the analog watch will look expensive, it'll look like a 5$ plastic watch ;). But the buttons in the center console , S-Class Style, look nice tough

I hate Mercedes is going with this stand up screen. BMW does it much better. Oh well, hopefully the materials will be premium in all the right areas.

The gauges don't look all that different from last-gen SL's design. Tubes with a screen on the bottom.

tbh the interior is not half bad while it doesn't look to be as detailed as the 3 series the interior does has the same plush luxury look
